Hey! You are updating all this as if one is in Canada. Can we from Indian directly apply for proper PSW course. If not from Medical or Nursing background?

Is it mandatory that a PSW employee should have an equivalent health care course to be eligible for PR? For Eg. a person who did Business Management course in Canada, if they find a PSW job, will they be still eligible for PR?

I have heard if we work as a hsw as a PSW it lies on TR 4 which is not a Noc b job. So if you work as hsw then can we still be eligible for PR?

Yes you can do that, it has a bright future ahead.

You can choose any, just make sure you get the PSW certificate so that you can apply for your PR or find jobs much easier.

No dear, it’s not the case! You can apply as student as well.
After completing PSW can i take admission in practical nursing
Yes you can go for practical nursing which has a very bright future ahead.
@@komal.in.scrubs In canada mostly college do not allow me to enroll in direct practical nursing because I'm Medical student(pcb) i haven't math in 12 Due to this i choose firstly PSW is it good pathway or Any other best patways if you Know to share some details with me

I am 12 pass and I want to come to canada to pursue nursing but I am not able to get it without maths.
So I just applied for pre health sciences pathway to advance diploma which is 8 month course afrer that I can get admission into practical nursing (with a 3.0 CGP) is it a good idea

Pre health sciences is good if you aim to become a RPN in future but if you take PSW you will have to have some years of experience in PSW only then you can opt for Practical nursing as far I know.

You can go to a walk in clinic and ask them to schedule you for immunization and complete your lab work, and they will give you a immunization record.

Hi Komal, NOC Code for PSW is : 44101 *Home support workers, caregivers and related occupations*. This NOC code didn’t receive any ITA during any health care draw right? I am I missing anything? Please clarify.
Yes, its for home support worker and not for the one who works in LTC as well as it doesn’t receive any ITA during healthcare draw.

You have to have a fulltime job in PSW as a home support.

I came here on study permit and worked as a part timer but for fulltime work I am not sure, but you can take PSW course here in canada for 6 months and then work here as a PSW after completion of training.

If you are international nurse then you have to show your education like nursing degree, and its better to have a cover letter if you do not have PSW certificate.

hello dear, as I have mentioned in one of my video you can visit a daycare clinic and ask them for medical for employment, they will run some tests and will provide you your immunization report.
