Great Info ! On my Bucket List to SEE and Drive the Going to the Sun Hwy ! No permits Required from East to West. Nice to see the Blackfeet Tribe getting some of the business.
Absolutely love this Glacier National Park video montage, Roxy. 👍❤ Your images of the scenery, the wildlife, and the wildflowers are stellar, with particular emphasis on the beargrass (one of my 5 favorite wildflowers.) Ko-fi-headed your way!
Its a typical park where the animals fear and awareness are taken away and often kill because of speeders and when they venture out of the park and are easy prey for hunters
Please understand - when you feel the "need"/"want" to post video about your "travels" to these special places, you are only encouraging more, and more, and more, and more....visitation. Areas, and neighborhoods around these areas are being overwhelmed by your "boondocking" - keep it to yourself - perfect way to ruin great spots - go tell everyone about it....
Thanks for your input. All of these places are official, designated camping locations, given out by the forest service, government agencies etc. and available in two seconds on any camping app. Id rather people go to these legal boondocking spots, than create new ones illegally and disturb sensitive habitat. I often got asked where one could camp when all the campgrounds were full, and a lot of misinformation was spread around. This video lets people know how to camp legally when they find themselves in need. And I do understand your point,it is a quandary I often contemplate. 🙏 Peace
@AdventureNomadforNature sure... official "campsites" but again- promoting them on social media type platforms only leads to crowding and overuse - what ever happened to just going out and exploring along the way? Your "boondocking" is just being part of the "herd". Oh and "not disturbing" sensitive areas? Camping below the high water mark on a wild and scenic river?? In a motor vehicle??? Really??? Acording to the montana stream access law it is illegal to operate a motor vehicle below the high water line - justify all you want - these postings send the wrong message to others - sure come out enjoy the area, but think about your actions and postings and consequences thereof
@@AdventureNomadforNaturecamping in a river bottom - despite whaf the forest allows - that is a sensitive area!! Montana stream access law states NO VEHICLES below high water mark - cant figure out where to camp?? There are thousands of acres of forest service land surrounding glacier - you can camp anywhere!! Cant figure if out?? You folks are way to dependent on yer dumb "apps"!

@@tonypainter6744 Enjoy the drive. I'm glad the Blackfeet have the campgrounds, I wish they benefitted more from all the tourism though.
Such an interesting video. Wow was that a moth or butterfly !? Rainy days are a different kind of interesting.
I believe it to be a polyphemus moth, but I'm no expert. 😁
