This song makes me cry every time I listen to it. I met my girlfriend in
Sweden as she was an exchange student from Japan at the same school I
was studying but the story is not how we met or anything. We both loved
anime and we always suggested and shared our anime with each other and
we fell in love. After a few years, she moved back to Japan however but
we kept the relationship for 9 years and made it work. On our very first
date, the first song she shared with me was this song. 2018-03-13 she
died because of a drunk driver and this song was played at her funeral. I
listen to this song every time I want to remember her and it pains me
every time to the point I cry but every time it is worth it.

It's been a long time since I've felt an instant emotional connection to a song on my first time listening to it. Usually you have to relate it to real life experiences in able to experience any sort of emotional change while listening to it, but very rarely, for whatever reason, some songs can do this with no prior relation or connection to emotionally significant events in your life. This song in particular makes me feel something very odd, sort of a nostalgia for something that hasn't happened yet, and perhaps a little bit of fear, the fear of it never happening. I'm not sure what exactly "it" is, but I think it might be the "right" future, a sort of destined path I am supposed to take, but which is not fatalistically determined to be the only path I can take. So, this song makes me feel the pain of potentially losing all that I might have in that "right" future by my choices in the present leading me down an inferior path.
Perhaps I am overthinking it, and I am certain the creator didn't make this song with what I described in mind; but that's what's so beautiful about music and any other form of art: the interpretation is up to you. Peace, brothers.

I understand completely, sometimes when I have emotional connections with musical pieces I can envision myself emersed in the depths of water. Here I breath just fine, my thoughts are clear. Sometimes when I walk the halls of my school I feel like a ghost which vanishes and reappears without purpose, until I thought extremely hard about who I was. Only then I found piece with myself.
