This is so beautiful!!! Your ❤ for your friends is so apparent.
What a lovely gift for your friends, Melissa. They LOVED it! Great job and gift of love.
Melisa, so sweet of you to do this for friends. The mother-to-be was happy and it was a joy to watch her delight. BTW, she was a stunning bride too. 👶🍼👼
You’re my FAVE design channel! I love everything you do 🩷 I might consider moving the name up above the board & batten when the baby can stand and grab but it’s soooo lovely!! 🥰 your friends are lucky to have someone like you. I always tell my husband (who watches with me) where do I find friends like you!? 🤣
Beautiful lady making beautiful things!
Gorgeous! Love the taupe paint color. Smart to remove the popcorn texture. The name sign and little book shelf are perfect. What a nice thing to do for your friends.
Thank you !
What a beautiful transformation and wonderful babywarming gift! Congrats to the new parents 🎉 Also, love the name Evelyn!
What a great transformation
Very nice Melissa. Great job!
What a lovely room!!!!!!
Nice makeover, well done. Do you hire out internationally to the UK?😂
So many good thoughts on this:
1) It's like one of those things an artist does and people think it was easy or quick but in reality it took so much work and not just because it had wait time such as for drying
2) I find so many times I think something is easy to do and in reality it takes a week of hard labor because of findings and fixings. So many times I've now have to add "unknown time" to my plans as I learn more skills-which may include some mistakes on the first try. The worst is having to go back to the store mid-project.
3) I am so impressed with how you work because it isn't a usual DIY project cutting corners but instead made of going all the way to do it according to standards alongside design. Doing it right and safely helps a future worker see what was done and how to fix things. It is difficult to find something where you have no idea what the previous person designed to do or if at all. Maybe everyone has that happen when things get replaced a decade or more later. You seem to show you can and do learn how to do the smallest of details without cutting corners unless necessary.
4) I would trust giving you my projects because you don't break rules and I know you go all the way unless it is a need taking you away.
5) How blessed you are with such close friends your age. Some moves make it hard to find that without more effort. Although they do live far huh?!
Great job.
we all need more friends like Melissa
Very pretty!!!
Wow!
You are amazing Mel!
Congratulations for such a wonderful, but a special and caring gift for your friends!
Well done!

I love this make over. It is so peaceful looking. Great job
Job well done. You gave it that magic touch. Looks amazing.
Babies start seeing color around 3 months. Child Development research shows contrasting colors important for intellectual stimulation, and primary colors for development. Maybe the toys and accessories can provide some color by the time the baby needs it for optic nerve development and cognitive growth.
Babies don't live their entire childhoods in their nurseries. It is fine to have calming colors where the child sleeps and stimulate them with the rest of the world.
And READING & BOOKS can contrast the calm!
@@Lombardio The whole house isn’t beige?
I'm a professional and you constantly amaze me! Great job! Plus, you are a goddess!
One word.....Awesome!
3M makes mounting tapes in various strengths. From a tape to hold up your Evelyn to a tape to mount a metal sign on the side of a commercial truck and stay on during heavy storms while traveling down the highway at 100 miles an hour for years. Nice way to honor your friend and her new stage of life btw.
Wow you did an amazing job!!!
Probably the best home improvement cannel going
Aw thank you 🙏
Very nice room and can be used for many years as baby grows. I know the garland is for video content, I hope, not good to have anything within a baby's reach. Nicely done!
Nice job.
Your narration is so good, have you thought of doing podcasts:)
You always amaze. Every project looks so perfect.
Thank you!
OUTSTANDING ; o ....
Hello, i think your channel is the best for diy enthusiasts.👍 I have now subscribed to him. I have a question. What mask are you wearing? Best Regards. 😀
Thank you! Here’s the link: amzn.to/47zGJwZ
Beautiful
Yes. And the room looks nice also.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Melisa you are the first person i’ve heard pronounce caulk right 😮
Absolutely lovely. The name cutout and lights are not safe for baby above the crib.
😅 I was completely tricked into thinking Melissa was expecting 😂
Nice work. Very kind of you, your friends are fortunate to have you in their lives. A word about the humidifier. Great idea, but they must be cleaned regularly, or mold will form. A humidifier with mold can stress one’s respiratory system.
Nice job Melissa! Very sweet of you. Remind your friend to open her windows a lot or turn on an air purifier with hepa filter following remodeling. A lot of construction materials release formaldehyde and other toxic gas we are not aware of. You are such a beautiful sweet handy woman
Good morning Melissa.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful job! I really like the texture of the rug... where did you find it?
It’s so affordable, on Amazon! amzn.to/3XgBCy1
Looks Good !! What was the website you used to design Board & Batten ? I could not hear it on the video .
It’s www.inchcalculator.com/board-and-batten-layout-calculator/
Wow!!! You did an amazing job.👍👌 The thing you guys need to move is the decoration on the crib, that's not safe for the baby. Other than that everything else looks stunning!!!👌
Won’t that garland on the crib become a choking hazard once baby is able to grasp?
Likely just staging for when mom sees the room for the first time.
I did intend for the garland to be a beautiful decoration that doesn’t stay on the crib when baby starts to grab at about 2 months old.
You did a nice job of the room, but I am worried about the decoration around the crib. The way babies grow and put everything they can get hold of in their mouths I am worried that she may get a leaf of the crib and choke on it when she starts moving around.
Did you really paint the outlets and the furnace vents??? No, No, No!!!😫
They’re paintable lol, I swapped them out with the kind that is slightly textured and intended to be painted.
Hello, I am not certain why it would take five hours to pack your car.
Because I had to think of every tool and material I’d need for this entire project to be away from my garage for a week.
Children need colour to help with their development. A beige on beige room may be your style for the rest of your home, but its selfish to be this boring & bland in a kids room.
When baby toys arrive there will be as much color as baby can handle.
Are you for real? There are toys, books, etc that are colorful. Especially for a newborn, I would argue the mother’s sense of comfort and calm with a neutral palette is paramount to the baby’s visual stimulation on the walls.
We probably live in one of the most colourful times in history. One beige room isn't going to stunt their development. Children will have their colourful toys and art supplies, and (hopefully) access to the outdoors were they can observe colours on full display. They'll be fine!
This is a “selfish” color for a nursery? Perhaps the most ridiculous statement I’ve ever seen, anywhere. The room looks great. The child will be just fine. Please don’t comment on anything ever again.
Let me guess, you watched one RUclips or tiktok video and now think you're the expert in child development.
