The best theories at least for me are the ones that are grounded. For example, what is goku was half Kryptonian or Viltrume... Cool. Fun. But i obviously cannot find it feasible. This, already Merno finding Goku to train him though, it's an already established concept that builds off of in universe elements, ie Angels and does not seem to far fetched given the multiverse.
