I recently tried it at 400 meters and it actually shines that far, not bright, but there is a clear difference between light and dark, so it's actually correct.
In addition, due to the unique horseshoe shaped and angled button, with the shape like of a pedal, in combination with the raised "heels" found on the front at the tracks intended for cooling.
The possibility is created that one can hold the flashlight like a "normal" flashlight and turn on the stroboscope or the lowest level, without keeping a finger on the buttons.
You put the pedal button against the palm of your hand and grasp the front "heels" with your fingers and press the lamp backwards against the palm, then it lights up.
After a little practice it works well, if you don't have too big hands, which I don't...
This unique Klarus design is the only one in the world that can work like that.
And if you put in the weaker CR123 batteries, the program changes so that Medium and Low become much... stronger, which is a very good, almost unique, feature that no one else has.
There is another flashlight from another brand where the lowest mode gets stronger, but not two...modes, like here.
