Is it me or are more and more soldiers coming out to get the ignorant tourist out of the way at changing the guards
They should be out there controlling the crowd with the numbers on the sidewalk.
I'm watching this channel so much, I find myself walking like the King's Guard's at home. A day doesn't pass that 60% of the Human's Rude, obnoxious, selfish behaviour towards these Guard's and Horse's makes me sick. Thank you for your video's. Bahahahaha I started walking like them down my driveway. I always think if I was there I would have to put my two cents in and tell them to trade places with the horse and see how much you like it before exploding.
Isn't interesting the number of people who consider these Dutymen to be toy soldiers. However, have a look at the Corporal of Horse who came out with the whip. Have a look at the medal ribbons on his chest and the para wings on his left sleeve. He is no toy soldier, but a battle harden soldier: like the others of this, my old, Regiment. They'd kick the arse of most of the piss takers who post on these sites. God Save the King and God Save the men and women of the Life Guards and the Household Cavalry Regiment.

Why aren’t there more police helping control the crowds? It’s amazing someone hadn’t gotten injured. Bunch of rude,obtuse,ignorant, people crowding each other and the Kings Guard.

It really irritates me when the police or guards tell the people to move behind the bollards that the people ask why. It doesn’t matter why, MOVE.

Should have more police standing around the Horses. Yesterday during a vegan protest with large numbers milling around with more Police and everyone wa well behaved.
Beyond the obsession of having to be next to the horse, and touching it, what is the deal with all the finger pointing and the V sign, sideways? The sign during WWII, became V for Victory, in the 60s, it then became the Peace sign. But wasn't sideways. What is it now?

I wish I could wipe the fatuous grins off the silly, ignorant faces of the tourists. I am an 85 year old Londoner. When I was young and went to Horse Guards nobody would have dreamed of touching the horses . If we got in the way then of dismounted guards they would rap on the ground with their scabbard I believe, not their sword although I may be mistaken. In any event the rapping was enough to make us jump out of the way sharpish! Nowadays of course the rapping wouldn't be heard above the clamour of the crowds.🏴🇬🇧

After a guard returning to a box full of tourists today, it seems there was much more security during guard change, soldiers, police & officer all present keeping tourists at bay

Why o why, is there not MORE CROWD CONTROL AROUND THE HORSES AND GUARDS? They are on duty : they are not photo props. STOP THIS MADDNESS!
Actually they are photo props. Do you not think you could guard this building with just the police and their automatic weapons? The Horses and guards are tourist attractions these days and I guess they do what it says on the tin. That doesn’t mean tourists aren’t morons but hey🤷🏻♂️

The first horse is like 'one more sweaty tourist gets in my face and I swear I'm going to blow'. Soldiers coming out to take the guards lunch order. Cod and chips and one chicken vindaloo.

Does somebody really think that an unknow animal would want to kiss her? Putting face right next to a strange animal is the stupidest thing to do. And those horses are there for duty, not for petting, for goodness' sake!
Did that guard use his chin strap to hide his smile. I laughed when the horse told the stupid woman kissing it in no uncertain terms to get lost so I’m sure he can’t have resisted a grin.
Do all those who can’t post for a photograph without a thumbs up or a v-sign think they’re being original?
They’ve put up a sign telling the more stupid tourists that horses can, and do, bite and kick when provoked but they still shove their kids up close and personal with those teeth. Many simply ignore the signs which tell them not to touch the reins. It’s not rocket science to know that the reins control the horse just like a steering wheel controls the direction of a car. How would they feel if a complete stranger grabbed the shell while they were driving.
It’s time an exclusion zone was put round those horses - they must get fed up with being poked and prodded all the time.
How many of those tourists could simply walk up and grab an on duty soldier in their country. All too often the police seem to stand around chatting rather than watching what’s going on. Tourism is important for the economy but would it suffer that much if a few of the more ignorant & stupid tourists were swiftly moved on with a flea in their ear.
I, too, thought he was hiding behind his chin strap. You could tell he had a big ole grin on his face. I had to laugh about that. I enjoy watching the horses get revenge and the guards getting a laugh out of it.
