Unkie Weems, bike is only 2 yrs older than me and I feel that we both look about the same. A little rough but still kickin. After not riding for 30+ years am back at it for retirement. Keep the vids coming my friend, stay strong and see you on the road!
You're a good man Weems. An inspiration and a good roll model for the youth.
Great video. Amazing bike. Great story & a beautiful ending filled with hope. 👏👏👏👏
Great story, great message, great bike! Well done Mr. Weems, bless you brother
Keeping showing God's love man! There's always hope!

Gotta respect a man with a noble passion 💯 👌
Well said 👏👏👏👏,we will all need help one day or the other .
You my friend have just gained another subscriber. As being a expat (english ) now living in france ,i am happy to see a bit of british iron being used as she should be used (not being all shiny and left in the garage ),the rainmaker will last for years if you give her a bit of love and attention.
Take care on the road mate .peace ✌✌✌
Weems, Great job building that ‘52 Thunderbird, I love old things. I have a ‘66 Harley-Davidson M50 needs to be rebuilt. Maybe I’ll start it this summer. It’s all intact just need a speedometer, Headlight and taillight lens.
Man these bikes a truley classic
I would love a vintage bike. I just don’t know enough about bikes to dive into one.
Incredible vid Jared! Brought here by Shadetree Army. Subbed and bell (all) thingamajobbered instantly. Above all thank you for bringing hope to those that have none.
Right on, Weems. I appreciate what you do brother! Keep up the great work
I followed you through shadetree surgeon. Glad I did. Great bike and story. My uncle had an early 70s triumph when I was little in the late 70s. It was loud and scary to me but i loved looking and sitting on that bike.
Another great bike, and another great video ( with a great message )
Thanks for this video...ALL THE THUMBS UP!
Great video, you're doing a fantastic job 👏
Motor cycles and brotherhood a great way to help with pstd
I bet that bike would be BEAUTIFUL restored.. (hint hint)
Man im so glad i found your channel via flipna. Iv got an 1970 triumph trophy 250 clean and complete (not running) and want to cop it up and turn it into a 441. Hopefully i can make it happen.
Your a true artist brother
Wow! Thank you for sharing. Awesome video. Hope, is a powerful thing.
Bad ass storytelling. Love the bike😎PMA

Love and respect from the uk

This is kind of what I have in mind for the 1964 BSA Chopper I just made arrangements to buy, Safe, Reliable and sound everyday driver on a budget, hopefully Jared you can find room for me on your waiting List
You're an amazing person Weems. Would love to shake your hand one day.
Thank you for being you.
What an amazing video. Well done!
Respect. Thanks Bro.
Awesome bike , video and story thanks for sharing
Love the Triumph. Enjoyed the ride along. Appreciate the message of hope.
Any thoughts of doing a history of Triumph motorcycles...
Hooah
Razor! Good hearing from old Army friends. I just may throw together a Triumph history video!
One of the best vids I've seen 😃
HOPE!! Thank you for the story and the uplifting words. I have had those dark times and Sometimes hope is all you have ( or think you have). Love your videos! Keep it up and one day I hope I can shake your hand and say thank you.
Awesome ending man. I deal have my fair share of demons. When they start to get the best of me, I throw a leg over and ride. Most of the time not knowing where I'm going and not caring. Last August I fell into a really dark place. Grabbed a few changes of clothes and took off from Lafayette LA. That afternoon I stopped in Destin FL to relax and have a few drinks. I felt amazing after crushing about 1200 miles in 2 days.
I find that peace in my shop, it's like therapy for the mind and soul.
@@weemsmotorco I have plans to build a shop to do projects soon. I work on tugboats so I have 14 days off at a time. Used to go hang out at my old captains house and help him with his and learn as much as I could from him. He built a 1921 indian power plus and a 48 Indian chief. He collected vintage bikes. He has a Arial square 4, a matchless, a bsa, and his prize position was an old velocette. I loved messing with old bikes. Reminded me of working on old ass hueys when I was enlisted. Lol
Love the bike, it’s story and most of all your story. There is always HOPE.
You don't need a shiny new bike, wrenching and riding an old bike can be more fun. The fact you'll save a lot a money means more for road trips.
Amazing story about the bike! Sending some ❤️from the UK 🇬🇧
True inspiration!
sorry to correct you Mr Weems but the first film about a bad ass motorcyclist and motorcycling was George Formby in 'No Limit'.
Great vid Jared! I very much enjoy your story telling!
This was a awesome video good job on motorcycle bully to you, love the psa rad
This is one of my favorite videos, possibly ever, has everything what makes life wonderful. You are a legend man ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻🏍
Amazing motorcycle and amazing message. Much appreciated!
So good Weems!!! Love the History. That bike is super cool! Hope is so huge we all need it. Thank you for sharing your story of hope! Have fun in Webster!
Great video. Now I know where the band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club got their name. I never realized it was from the Wild Ones.
The Rainmaker! What a cool, classic bike. Also, thank you for your message of hope. 👍
Awesome video Jared! Incredible work, the Rainmaker is awesome.
Great video.
Very cool!
Fantastic!! Amazing bike. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked it!
My first bike was a sprung-hub Thunderbird like that one, never knew what year it was as it was unregistered and we used to ride it round a field, my 'friend' who was half owner with me gave it away without telling me, what an ass... In those days, (late 60s) these old bikes were worth next to nothing here in England, a local BSA dealer had a nice Vincent Rapide with a spare engine, £350... I think we paid £5 for the Thunderbird.
Anyway, thanks for the video and the memories; I hope you will be able to find the correct, cast iron head for yours some day, unless of course, American export T'birds were fitted with ally heads originally? Ours were iron.
This is a cast iron head that someone at some point painted silver!
what a cool channel!!!!!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Very cool vid man.🏍
Awesome 👍🇺🇲👍
Hey you have your own RUclips channel! Congrats man, Flip Na sent me. I am a Triumph owner and fan boy so excited to follow you
Great history lesson and life lesson! Well done sir and have a great day!
Beautiful words of inspiration Jared. I think everyone needs a little hope nowadays in this crazy world we live in. Thanks for planning out my Sunday movie, great Vlog.
They filmed some of the Wild One in my hometown Fresno CA.
Too awesome!
MAAAAAAAYBE there's a bit of symbolism in the ending of the movie? Symbolism of "TRIUMPH" in the literal sense possibly? Triumph for Freedom as he rides away from oppression of the townsfolk and the physicality of throwing his leg over a TRIUMPH lol, just my ramblings man... HAHAHAHAHAHA! P.S.! I Really like the message of HOPE! After this past year WE The People as a people need to embrace HOPE! The simple fact that Hope should Never Die within you maybe? Great Video Today Man! I dig it!
Great video and great message!
❤❤❤
Looking forward to this.
There is hope indeed. Place your hope in Jesus.
Absolutely love this bike man. Hope alls well man
I think it's time for a set of tires 😅
I got second place comment!! Be good and be safe!!
As a disabled US Army combat veteran I have been down when I lost brothers. One tattoo on my right wrist keeps me going. It begins with a Teal Semi Colon, followed by black IGY6. No my 6 is not red I do not know anyone that has committed suicide. But i do have a red 22 underneath to represent the Service people and Veterans that commit suicide every day in America.
When anyone that is hurting reaches out to shake my hand and sees that ink, They'll know I'll be there to help them in any way I can.
Jerod, you are in my prayers brother.
Hoka Hey
and Chino (Lee Marvin) on H-D Hydra Glide...
Yeah…but Brando on a Triumph!
How does the riding experience of the Rainmaker compare to that beautiful orange and white Triumph you have? Is like comparing apples and oranges? I've never been on old Triumph. I've test ridden a 71 BSA Lightening and an early 70's Norton Commando...and I have a 1975 Honda CB750 as my daily rider. I'm guessing none of those bikes are smilier to a 50's Thunderbird.
My next On the Road video will be on the 66 Bonneville! I will compare them!
Ah man. Your hats are back in stock. I finally went to buy one. I was able to throw my address in (Australia), but I get this error.
"We are unable to calculate shipping rates for the selected items."
I assume that you might not ship here. It'll probably be double what the hat is worth. But I still want one and to support your channel and brand, as I'm a huge fan on the show (using my other account).
Send me an email through my website and we can work it out via PayPal!!!
@@weemsmotorco done!
Well done, always wanted a triumph thunderbird. Currently own a triumph 500 1967. What’s the raffle you have going. From Canada.
Marlon Brando couldn't ride Lee Marvin Road all his life and he used to ride in the dirt and to desert racing with Steve McQueen bud Ekans that must have been cool racing in the desert with these Hollywood Legends
A Great British motorcycle movie is called motorcycle it's kind of a gothic witch motorcycle gang spells ball in Merry Old England when England was still merry lots of great writing all on. Triumph and BSA because it was made in the 60s it's corny but you should check it out
Curious, does that bike use the British odd size wrenches? Or did that come later......🤔
Prior to 1968 Triumphs used Whitworth British Standard Threads
Wheems. How do you feel about Norton coming back? Interested? Not interested? Or down right keen to get on one?
Love it and also BSA resurfacing!!!
I'm sad to say this but the movie doesnt end there.. someone causes more trouble for Johnny before the movie ends.. but that girl keeps him from going to prison.. not trying to be a smart asse, I'm a big fan of this channel.. but some idiot causes an accident to happen and they try to pin it on Johnny.. the girl causes two eye witnesses to come forward and tell what really happened which leads to Johnny being allowed to walk free.. some people think this movie is not worth much but in the days it was made, things like this were really unheard of and would set a town in a royal stir.. today people go smashing muscle cars into crowds and the next day it's on social media as a joke.. times have changed drastically.. I love your channel.. and that's a movie I can never stop watching over and over.. probably cos I'm sitting without a bike right now so all I can do is watch bike movies.. or probably cos I have a passion for the Brando jacket and all that goes with it.. sorry if my words offended anyone, not trying to spark trouble.. pardon me if I upset anyone including you Sir Weems.. 🙏
Great words and great movie!

I got a bit teary eyed when I watched the last part of that video.. i guess I'm just a bit of an emotional "tough guy".. i dont know if you are a religious kind of person, but since watching that video i now think of you when I pray and pray for your well being and that you must have many more miles on the clock.. I've lost people in the past because of things which you've mentioned in that video and went through some really tough times myself so when you said that, I sprung a liquid leak through my "soul windows" if you catch my drift..
Stay strong uncle Weems.. I dont know how strong my prayers are with the "Big man upstairs" but you are in them from now on..
There's hope in JESUS.
I know some booze fighters
Sorry you need to watch. The movie again he gets in to trouble when his bike kills someone
You may be getting things mixed up. A local in the town hit one of the motorcyclists with their car and he is taken to the hospital to get fixed up. While they are waiting for him to get bandaged up the "bikers" hang out in the town causing issues with the locals. Johnny meets a girl in the local bar and she fall's for him. The town label Johnny as the leader of the uprising and chase him down for the issues the others have caused.
...and it was a Bluebird too. Picture was BW so most people think it was a Blackbird.
Trying to get a old triumph from mother in law
I would love a vintage bike. I just don’t know enough about bikes to dive into one.
