Ive tried BpmSupreme, FRP, and MyMp3pool...They all have pros and cons ..i just cancel FRP.. this month but i went back to MyMp3Pool they have clean, dirty, and intros...
I have an extensive vinyl collection dating back to the 80s. I was a vinyl addict & a club DJ. If there are songs you are looking for that you can't find just holler & I'll do my best to help. I have tracks that even Flex doesn't have. I bought records *every week* from different record stores from 1988 to 2007. There's not enough time in a lifetime to convert them all into digital format so I simply, selectively prioritise my instrumentals and acapellas. Apple Music, Spotify & RUclips are still playing catch up when it comes to old Skool R&B and HipHop. They are missing a lot of tunes so just holler
Thanks for this video! I called FRP to see what was up a while ago and they told me about the deals with the record labels. I still have FRP, the price is great. Has a lot of throwbacks pop music, house, latin, hip hop (not all labels) etc and just started with Heavy Hits. So far having two record pools have helped. And if I can't find a song last resort is RUclips.
Spotify and Tidal have clean versions. But I was wondering what happened to FRP. Before the pandemic they had everything I needed and now it has been very difficult to even get the basic top 40 song in any genre.
Well, from what I've been told from FRP they don't have the contracts with some of the major labels anymore. ie - Sony, Atlantic and I believe Columbia.
@@THEREALDJREDD man, imo like you’ve been kind of saying, if you can’t get clean/dirty versions of new songs, record pools like FRP are useless to DJs.
I believe this is an issue with all record pools at the moment. I just canceled my franchise account a few days ago and haven't found a replacement as of yet. I do understand that we as djs do not own the rights to music just because we pay for a service and at anytime all pools can be taken from under us. I'm looking at BPM supreme or 8th Wonder . Have anyone found i decent one yet?
We also tried BPM and started having billing issues. We were getting charged $39 per month and it was always a trying to contact them to get it resolved. We are also still looking.
well. my experience is different .I was using bpm supreme and mymp3pool and frp .in my opinion frp had better and more music ,specially old music 80 s 90s and 2000s,they also had a lot of remixes ,its sad that it was taking down .any chance I get I will back with them again
Try the mashup Uk it’s a great platform made by DJs for DJs and it’s so user friendly and has really helped my sets especially with the word play edits
I am a member of Franchise and BPM Supreme. I am experiencing the same problem with both. I been comparing the two because I want to cancel one of them because they get the same tracks for the most part but they are both missing the same key tracks. I also was a member of MyMP3 Pool before I joined Franchise Record Pool 2 months ago and it's the same issue. MyMP3 and Franchise get more dancehall and more clean hip hop which is vital to me but BPM Supreme has an intro track for everything. They are all $20 US a month. I am also not sure how the music is distributed and the agreements between the pools and labels but based on what I am seeing in the last 6 months from these well known record pools I agree that the record companies don't seem to want to service the pools anymore with new music and prefer DJ's to use streaming services which I do not use because you never own the music. If I ever quit the business I would still have to pay monthly to have the access to all the music I downloaded the last few years. These were not issues when we used vinyl and cd's. Damn I miss the vinyl days!!!
