Poor stoppage especially considering the round was about to be over, hard to blame Hunter for that reaction.

You guys never are never going to understand.
Well, I could accept the argument that the stoppage may have been early (although he was getting beaten pretty handily throughout the fight), you cannot and should NEVER put your hands on a ref. You risk really messing up your career. Fighters far better than he have dealt with stoppages far worse, and the vast majority don't act that way. It's a sign of a lack of discipline and/or maturity.

The ref is not there to give you a chance, he should have took a knee on his own. It’s up to the boxers IQ to know when to take a knee or his corner should have told him. Can’t look to the ref for help it’s a fight

It really is super immature to act that way. It could also mess up your career. Like I mentioned before, fighters far better than he had to deal with stoppages far worse and in bigger fights, and they generally don't act like that.

Shameful all around. The kid's glove touched the canvas, and the count would have let him see the next round. Still, you can't show your ass like that in a professional fight. I saw the name and the haircut and remembered Michael "the Bounty Hunter," Hunter, a slippery and underrated heavyweight who got killed fighting some undercover cops some years back. I think his brother's also the Michael Hunter who fought Usyk.
