- A yellow Void Creature arrives on campus, and Jax and Liza are on the case. Their job is to reason with them, chase them away, or neutralize them (if it comes to that; that's never the goal). Unfortunately Maze doesn't have the training to contribute to the cause. Despite her eagerness to help and her concerns about Liza's safety, Maze has to stay behind because she's not ready.
Also Liza wasn't ready either, whoops.
GOSH I'm so glad I finished this before school's back in, there's only 2 days left!! I'm SO freaking proud of this one, I tried my best to work with different forms of lighting and backgrounds especially! I'm really happy with how it turned out and I hope you enjoy as well! Also, a very special thanks to my friend @sanseyy2602 for helping me decide what to animate next! It was between this and a couple other projects, and they really helped with the final decision. Thank you Sansey! :D
Also I'm eager to answer questions about this one if there are any, this is the first I've ever shown the territory protection aspect of the story, or even another void creature. There's a lot to cover in this and future animations, and I'm happy to provide any information if I can!

I absolutely adore this whole animation, and the lore that comes with it! You’ve yet again produced a more-than-masterpiece of a video Raye! Here are some of my personal favourite bits :)
0:02 I absolutely adore this background and the cool perspective of Jax and Liza! I love the dome building emerging from over the treetops and how the void creature can be seen from beyond another building!
0:05 The way Liza’s dress blows slightly as she pulls herself up on the rail is such an incredibly fluid movement! I also absolutely love the transition that follows, of the void creature seeing both of them in its eye!
0:11 WOAH the perspective of the two standing on the building- and the camera zoom in movement is just so seamless and STRAIGHT UP BRILLIANT!!! And I can’t get over how Jax and Liza meet each other eyes and give exited lil grins as they prepare for what they probably believed to be a reasonably easy and fun task🥺 (Also I’m not sure if it’s just me but Jax’s expression just seems to be slightly more apprehensive then Liza who’s just pure excitement, as he is likely more aware of the danger that they are facing.)
0:14 Really cool zoom in transition of Maze at the window! Her expression turning from a supportive lil smile to worry and her shoulders sinking as she watches them leave - Poor Maze :(
0:17 The Wolf Jax tail flop and the way he pulls on the meat looks seriously cool! I absolutely love this piece of insanity smooth animation! It might even be my absolute favourite bit of this whole animation meme! :D
0:21 LOVE THESE TWO!! Maze and Liza are the best most wholesome couple ever and nobody shall ever change my mind! The way they grin and lean towards each other is so cute and the sunset background here is really beautiful and sets the mood of the scene very well!
0:26 Love the nighttime lighting change here!
0:27 Liza noooo!!! The void creature fight must not have gone too well, poor Liza😔 - The perspective and shadows here look so good though! And I really like how jax’s eyes resemble the eyes from his monster form!
Also I need take a moment to just appreciate the subtitles you added and how the lyrics fit so well with what’s going on in each scene! Liza saying “There you are” to the void creature in a happy and gentle voice - (little does she no what the outcome of this encounter will be😔), “Look sly” for when jax an Liza are spying on the void creature, “Call me fighter, I’ll mop the floor with you” seems to fit Jax’s personality very well - and I love how he’s literally shown on the floor chewing on some dead thing for the line!! And of course “Call me lover” to refer to Liza and Maze! I
And then the line “you’ll get older maybe then you’ll feel some control”. Maze must feel like everything is out of her control, I imagine it must be so hard for her waiting for her friend and girlfriend to come back without knowing what was going on and unable to protect and help them.
This animation was absolutely remarkable Raye!! You should be so, so proud of creating this! I really enjoyed watching it and appreciate the time and effort you put into animating this and sharing your character’s lore with us! I love your OC universes and can’t wait to find out more!

Damn im 2 months late but OMG THIS IS AMAZING! The animation is so smooth and fluid.The expressions are so expressive and the character designs are creative and just like idk how to explain it.
