This is my new Grand Seiko SBGW231 with manual wind movement. I view it as a modern dress watch. I'll show you the pros and cons so you can form your own opinion.

Nice vid. Pro tip: you were shooting into the light from the window. Always put the light over your shoulder so it hits the subject instead of the overhead lamp. 👍🏼
Beautiful watch and one of my favourite GS’s. How is it standing up to scratches? If the case was made of brilliant titanium like only a few GS’s I might buy one. GS claim that brilliant titanium is twice as hard as stainless steel.
This watch has held up very well. You have to really search to find any scratches. I do not have a titanium watch to compare but my SBGN005 is definitely showing a lot of wear.
I rent a safe deposit box for the warranty papers/cards, extra links, and hangtags. As for your collectible watches, I would say keep a few out that you can rotate during the week and put the rest in a safe or safe deposit box along with your passport and important stuff.
