That's the debate I had with a Khalistani. If the Gurus were against Hinduism so why they named their children as Angad, Ram, Arjun, Hargobind, Harkrishan & Gobind (Krishna). Thank you for bringing the crucial point of, from whom everything stems from. I was born in Sikhism and Hinduism. But today, I am a Vaishnava following Srila Prabhupada's pathway. Krsna is the supreme personality of Godhead , and from Him all things come as He expands Himself in karanadaskhaaii Vishnu, Garbodaskshaaii Vishnu and Ksriodakshaaii Vishnu, from He enters into all planetary systems, everything in the creation ( his creative energy) and into all living entity as paramathama just like sun rays penetrate into everything from the sun. Therefore, krsna says in Bhagavat Gita, " I am the beginning, I am the middle and I am the end". He is the ADI PURUSH, the supreme person with no one above Him.
YES... Only they have roots in our India's land.... Abrahamic religions canes from outside because of mass forced conversions and missionaries ( the poor accepted)
Love every creation of god if you bilive Krishna every body inside love all relegion Guru Granth Sahib Ji's message is to love everyone, God is present inside everyone, hating people of other religion is a sin and the punishment is worse than hell
God is everywhere but for a clear concentration we can use idols or pictures. Pictures, visuals always helps humans to focus. We have been made like this. It can be hard to understand something even in 1000 words but a 1 minute video will give us a clear cut explaination about that thing.
Ultimately even if we are in front of picture or idol everything just going inside the brain and heart . So referring us as idol worshippers is a shallower perspective with some certainly wrong intention. Our Saints are also like Buddhist monks they don't have any personal relation whole community or humanity is their family and grahasth or married people have lots of responsibilities so its hard for them to follow it at the level of monks.
Now please open your minds instead of treading water. It’s about “oneness”, the foundation of sikh philosophy. Understand your concepts with open minds, not to foster your egos. Krishna that is understood with sikh parameters doesn’t involve quarrels about ownership.

I would like to add a few more things to this beautiful explanation about Krishna. As a Sikh, I have to admit, the earthly form of Krishna is mesmerizingly beautiful, looking at pictures of him no doubt brings peace to mind, similar to keeping a frame of Guru Nanak, although I realize these aren’t the same. Another thing is many times I’ve listened to RUclips videos of Krishna flute music, but we know that isn’t really Krishna’s flute but just to meant to give the idea of Krishna playing such beautiful flute, for peace and calm. I’ve thought at times if flute music played by a human can sound so beautiful, how beautiful it must have been to have the Real Lord’s flute notes falling on your ears❤️ there are many references in Gurbani that meditating on the Lord’s Name one can hear the unheard heavenly music. There is a line from Sukhmani Sahib “Prabh kai simran, anhad jhunkar”, which means meditating on The Lord’s name one hears the unstruck heavenly melody. I find Krishnas flute music is like that. We cannot hear it in the conventional sense with our ears like satpal is quoting Krishna saying to see the entirety of me you cannot see me with the conventional way, you have to see and hear with the mind and become one with God.
I cannot express how glad I'm after seeing this video . You truly represent his teaching of vasudev kutumbakam . We are one . And not to miss that your explanation is amazing too . Explained with such positivity. Jai Guru Gobind . Jai shree ram .

Like too much of proximity breeds contempt, too much of praise on someone makes them brew contempt for the one who keeps praising them all the time. The Sikhs saved their own as much as the rest of panths of the Sanatana Dharma did. Nothing more , nothing less for which they gain my respect as much as my own heroes. Sikhi panth came up similar to Vaishnavism, Shaivism, Buddhism and countless renewal traditions of Sanatana Dharma as the wise men of that time found that the people needed them to revise the existing traditions. It’s not for nothing that the revered 10th guru has sent his best men for learning Vedic wisdom from the Brahmanas of Varanasi/Kashi. Tomorrow, a new path may arise when/if the time is not suitable for people to practice Sikhi panth. Sanatana == nitya nootana i.e. ever new / self purifying. I respect the Gurus as much as I do respect all of the Acharyas of Hindu fold but will not tolerate any person with a Sikh name making fun of my traditions.
Bhai Satnam Singh. You are a true Sikh of Guru Nanak. You have given the essence of Krishna’s true teachings in such succinct manner that I have not seen elsewhere. You are indeed blessed by the Guru. Thank you.
So beautifully explained...dandavat pranams.. Wonderful, follow your own advice " resist evil" Murdering is evil, God is not a murderer like Ram or a mass murderer like Krishna whose hands are dripping with the blood of Ravana, and 100 Kauravas, god is definitely not a monkey. For me Sikhism is a special class of Sanatan Dharm (Hinduism for outsiders) formed to protect mainstream Sanatan Dharma from outside invaders! As a sanatani i bow down to the all Sikh gurus who lay down their lives for protecting us and also to all Sikh brothers who still protect us from the borders! Thank you so much! Actually every sanatani is indebted and obliged to the every true sikh! In addition to that i really feel disheartened when i see people from foreign lands give voices to separate sikhi from their roots!
Sikhs were only active in Punjab area. You forget that it was Marathas who broke Mughal empire into pieces and took over large parts of india. Marathas even expelled afghans who had captured Amritsar.
That's something to make yourself happy. But Sikhism has totally different beliefs and do not believe in any Hindu rituals. You need to learn deeply about Sikhism if you wish to brother.
@@Gurinder_Kaur_ You should give today's book reading time to my answer!😋 i am sorry i disagree with ur idea! Hinduism can't be defined with certain set of rituals and beliefs. A south indian Hindu follows totally different rituals, tribal hindus from CG & JK have different belief systems whereas Bengali Hinduism have different. Hinduism is an idea that incorporates all belief system that lies under a geographical boundary originally starts from hindukush mountains in afghanistan from the west and up to far eastern region. Here, no believe system is superior to other..we have even different gods in different regions (many north Indians don't even know about Lord Ayyappa!). I guess, Sikhism never questioned existence of Lord Ram or Lord Krishna though they may recognise them through different aspect! (Correct me if i am wrong!). In hindusim, even one who don't believe in god is also widely accepted and not just accepted but heard. Sant Kabir was a person who denounce all Hindu rituals and mandirs but he was widely followed even today. We even worship humans and even gave god like stature like Sai Baba, Baba Gorakhnath or Guru Nanak Dev. Basically Hindusim incorporates Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism.I give u an example, at one point in in texts of Jainism they say Lord Krishna was a disciple of a jain muni, whereas many 'hindu' scriptures accept Lord Buddha from Buddhism as the 10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. So any belief system that have roots in sanatan dharma cannot separate itself from it. Just look at the beauty, a person who questions god's existence to a person who accept humans as a god to a person who worship 'demonic being' like Ravan, all are hindus and none of them and all of them can claim and argue on others belief. Basically we all are one, our beliefs entangled into each other...non of us have the ultimate truth like concept unlike common in all Abrahmic religion where their religious texts are the only truth and no one can amend or disagree with it, actually we all are seekers who gives space to questions and arguements for the betterment of our spiritualistic idea! That's liberalism at its core! And me and you are part of it!

Regarding the Idol Worship in Hinduism and in many other old religions also:- It was thier neccessity to worship idols because there was no other simpler method known to them by that time. Paintings became popular and affordable by 1600 AD only, the era Guru Nanak was born. Also, first we need learn with models, then we imagine by ourselves. Even Arjun needed devine eyes (perception) to see the ultimate.
Idol worship does not means there were no other way. First understand what is idol worship then make such baseless comment. There is oceans of difference between murti-puja and idol worship. We are not idol worshippers. Murtis are deities themselves not representation of them. Painting was part of our culture for very very long. People who created such temples would not have figured out what n how painting is done. Wootz steel of India went to Middle East n became Damascus steel. For murti puja one thing is very important that is pran daan. That means the consciousness is within the clay idol. When pran daan happens an clay idol become murti. Nd that is why a temple since Vedic era is called God’s home. In Tamil it’s call Deva Laya. And not prayer hall. And also don’t mix abrahamic consecration with Vedic. Abrahamic consecration mean a place become blessed or sacred. In Vedic customs it means Prana Danam. The conscious of the deities reside in it.
@@r.b.8018 Firstly, calm down. Your impetuousness and arrogance will block your ability to grasp. It wont affect me. No matter how many classifications of the words (murti puja/idol worship/consecrated item, place or book) you make, essentially they all mean some embodiment of God or God's wisdom which may be common for masses or belonging to limited people i.e. Kul Devis, so that one can worship God easily (to focus easily on God or on God's teachings). Some rich kings provided such facilities to general public also by making large temples and other monuments. Few who attained higher realisation consecrated (pran daan) thier idols/places but it takes a lot energy and it fades over time. Some highly realised beings made them alive and able to intereact with the idols. All these are methods developed by humans over the time were to keep reminding ourselves to better focus towards God. Humans have short memory so they were much needed and they have evolved over time based upon past experiances, knowledge and available resources. FYI, it is based on the principle of least efforts (POLE). When Guru Nanak came, he proposed his improvements based on the factors stated above. Similarly, various modifications were brought in different parts of the world by many great realised beings, as arrogantly listed by you in your comment. What I wanted to convey was that the oldest method among all of them was obviously the easiest one and POLE forced us to choose it- and it was making idols- small (thus easily portable) or big, simple or complex, affordable, being 3D they helped people of that time feel/get attached to it better and focus better. By time, evolution happenedNow we can have whole Guru Granth Sahib, whole Ramayana in our mobiles, we have colourful real-like images/wallpapers. You generally dont think of consecrating the Mobile because you dont know how to do it and well it already interacts with you as if it is alive- Siri. So you should improve your basics to understand my baseless comment.
@@ArjunKumar-fc8dc Firstly a mobile is humans creation. Even the AI is human creation. Which is within human grasp n can be modified. Secondly natural law cannot be modified by humans. Thirdly again u r as baseless as u were previously. U need to read Vedas to understand how temples were created. Nd murti pujan n idol worship is not the same thing. Just like a prayer hall n godhouse is not same. Worship is not based on principles of least efforts. To become a YOGI u won’t employ principle of least efforts. Rejecting materialistic needs n wants is not easy. Yoga was not created based on POLE. In ancient times people used to bring pujari at home for concretion of even the smallest of murtis. The same way it was done in a temple. It was done free of cost as it was believed to be a Purana n a way to get ride of past karma. Just like bhiksha is not based on POLE. It is based on getting ride of karma. Kings didn’t create temple to show off their glory. Temples were hub for education nd business. In west life or society revolved around a Lord’s fortress or manor. But in India society revolved around temples. Santana Dharma is not based on POLE but moksha. Attaining moksha is not an easy feat n neither is rebirth. And FYI a 2000yrs year old Shiv linga has been found that still has prana in it. In my village temple we worship an 800yr old murti. A murti after consecration does not become inactive if it’s taken care of regularly. Based on your logic then we should change the murti in Tirupathi or concentrate it every now n then. Various modification are made in various parts of the world. U mean the Pagans of the west vanished due to modifications n POLE. Don’t make me laugh. I’ll advice you to be read authentic vedas n Rajiv Malhotra’s “sanskrit non translatables” to understand what I’m talking abt.
No no If you don't know any thing about idiol worshipped and cosmic energy's connection with our body so plz don't say anything it is a advanced level of science technology which is called tantrayog Murti Pooja is not for bhakti and shraddha or believe system it's a technique to connect ourself with almighty creator the supreme power the param peeta there is also so many path's
@@r.b.8018 Like Mobiles and AI, Murtis and all other things which you mentioned arrogantly are also man-made. Like a mobile is made for specific purpose(s) to assist us in achieving our specific goals, Murtis, Temples and all religious practices were also made to help us to realise our true being and become more conscious. Technology is technology whether used in material world or for spiritual purposes. Murtis, Temples, Spiritual practices are a technology for the specific user- Moksha seeker. You are simply lost in bookish teachings as you never felt anything about God and how life goes on but a rote learner of few facts and data about Him. Evolution and POLE are the fundamentals of life's existance and they are everywhere like God and due to your limited knowledge alongwith arrogance, you are neither able to see any of them. By your comments I can guess that you are in 20s full of arrogance but no wisdom. Your limited knowledge knows only disection, differentiation and noting down the individual properties only. You are not seeing the union, the combined play and how life goes as a system. You dont even realise that moksha is nothing but POLE. When you become fine tuned with the nature (by wisdom, yoga, self realisation etc. whatever you call), you flow smoothly through the life without resistance. POLE also focuses on doing that which requires least resistance. A Sanyasi seperates himself from materialistic things- it is again the practice of POLE. By doing this, he wants to reduce his resistance on the path of self realisation because materialistic things will not allow him to follow that path with ease. A Yogi does not leave material things, he is Yogi (blender of material and spiritual world). Now I cannot teach more an arrogant kid. Good luck.
Truly a beautiful message. I really loved the fish trying to find water example. Krishna, when he was a kid revealed the entire universe inside his mouth, it's because we are living inside God himself /herself.

Along with Our Granths, Sikhs must read Bhagwad-Geeta and as much as possible from Sanatan vast library. It’s the way of what our 10 patshah Ji’s. I was amazed when I found the whole “Mool-Mantar” scattered across different sections of Vedas and Bhagat-Baanis. I bet 90% of Hindus see Hanuman as some kinda monkey, whereas he was a adivasi. He was Vannar not Bandar, van in sanskrit means forest nd nar meaning man, a man living in the woods.

God is everywhere but for a clear concentration we can use idols or pictures. Pictures, visuals always helps humans to focus. We have been made like this. It can be hard to understand something even in 1000 words but a 1 minute video will give us a clear cut explaination about that thing.
according to Indian tradition, the moortis and mandirs are energy centres. Read Aagma Shastra.

Extremely simple and beautiful explanation

@@Gurinder_Kaur_ You should give today's book reading time to my answer!😋
i am sorry i disagree with ur idea!
This is the best thing I heard today. May Lord Krishna shower his blessings on you. Sat Naam Shri Wahe Guru .

@@ArjunKumar-fc8dc
Firstly a mobile is humans creation.
No no
If you don't know any thing about idiol worshipped and cosmic energy's connection with our body so plz don't say anything it is a advanced level of science technology which is called tantrayog
Murti Pooja is not for bhakti and shraddha or believe system it's a technique to connect ourself with almighty creator the supreme power the param peeta there is also so many path's
Good luck.
