The funny part is that even though Brent was unable to take two stars from Nick (he would of bounced off the door to use the Boo twice and had 100 coins), he was *still* one good roll away from winning the entire game. That shows that the warp block was 100% the correct choice

Honestly, one of the few flaws of Mario Party 3 is the lack of reward for certain minigames ending in draws. Treadmill Grill, Bounce n Trounce and The Beat Goes On being the chief offenders.
Since I can’t edit via Phone Text, here’s some other massively notable offenders for Draw that really chafe the wrong way. The first 3 were 4v4. In the 2v2 minigames, the most common offenders are Etch N Catch, Log Jam, Slot Synch, Baby Bowser Broadside and Hyper Hydrants. Other 4v4 minigames I forgot to mention are Snowball Summit and MPIQ. MPIQ can happen, but normally only if you are rushing the questions without letting it finish. Awful Tower can get Draws too, but does give you chances for single coins that don’t make it a complete waste of time. Sometimes it’s all you need for that next 20 coins for the star or buying a certain item. It really is flat out insane how many Non Duel and Battle games can really end up stifling a decent game with too little money to work with.
I love how some of Vern’s fans are so toxic about Vern’s play and giving nick the win, like some of you guys are so toxic for wanting Brent to win yet another Mario party Game. Yeah nick is really toxic when he wins but Brent winning almost all the time does get old after it happens so many times and people call Nick the luckiest when nobody else ever wins *insert the biggest Mr Crabs face here*
TL;DR - Objectively correct play, but because Nick told Vernias to do it, people were able to play the puppet card to make Vern feel bad. Not cool, dudes. So, the controversy surrounding this play is a little mind boggling. If it were me, I also wouldn't want my skilled friend to win for the 100th time. If all four of these guys were more or less on the same skill level, it wouldn't be such an issue and they could have more fun relying on RNG. However, Brent has continuously proved that, in terms of skill and mashing, he outranks the others by a wide margin. The most important thing to remember is something Nick said in one video: When it comes to Mario Party, second, third, and last are all equal. The only exception is for battle mini-games where second wins a portion of coins. Besides, if the play gives you a running chance, you should do it, regardless of what anyone else says. It was, objectively, the right play to get Vernias in the running. The RNG just was not in his favor. Honestly, I feel like Brent was just upset because Vernias didn't let him make a play that gave him 3 stars, considering he pretty much always gets bonus stars as well. I also think Sophist was just saying the puppet thing because Nick told Vernias to do it. Had Vernias made the play all by himself with no word from Nick, it would've been a different matter.
Just hearing all the Ace Attorney music and character sprite usage for their convos between Vernias and the rest of the Party Crashers crew make my days a little bit better as Phoenix Wright is one of my favorite games series.

Nintendo: Mario Party is a game were you can laugh, and play with your friends together and enjoy the wholesome experience with love and friendship. Party Crashers: So that was a f**king lie.
19:18 Brent has two, nick has three. If brent gets lower than a 3, then he doesnt even get to use the boo. Now, if he rolls a 3 (and maybe a 4) he uses the boo and lands behind it, so there is a 3 in 10 chance of vernias beneffiting in some way and 1 out of those ten of him bailling with 2 stars, if he wins the miningame, thus tying with brent and nick (or 2 in ten, depends on if the game counts the bowser space two times after brent passed the gate). So, it is the most consistent strategy to swap before, but its the last 5 turns, it should be worth the risk, as brent is probably gonna get another star, and vernias has 0 stars.
I dont care if its an unpopular opinion, Vernias did the RIGHT PLAY because he was aiming to BENEFIT HIMSELF. Which, might i remind you guys, IS THE POINT OF THE GAME. Idc Vernias wasnt wrong on this one
19:09 if you ask me vern it had to happen like this Cas you would have been in last and breat would have won AGAIN if you didn't sabotage him like that. Plus Nike DID came to your defense in his video so friendship did rise from the ashs from this deadly game.
19:18 actually Vern i thought you're not as a puppet this time but as someone who used logic because like you said if you didn't that would be a massive W on Brent's side so yeah good thing you let Nick help you prevent Brent from getting an easy win
Brent has to mid-high roll in order to get boos twice. If he didn't bounce off the gate, he'd only get one, and then Vernias could warp and get a boo and a star. If Brent gets anything under a 10 then Vernias swaps and gets the star (Brent has two, Nick has one, Vernias has one) instead of what happened (Nick has three, Vernias has one). Tough call, but I think the situation was more complicated then it seemed
If Nick had taken the 5 coins with the Koopa Card, he could have stolen a Star next turn. In hindsight, perhaps he should have took the small coins for a big jump. He had at least one other chance to choose going in for a larger payout later in, but he chose the infinite loop warp instead and suffered.
I'm more ticked off that Nick got rewarded for screwing Eevee over like he did. Not mad at Vern for making the move he did at all, but Nick needed something to knock him down a peg or two and that warp block play basically sealed the win for Nick
To be fair, if u didn’t use the warp block, Brent would’ve won instead of nick. These ppl going after u r just probably the kingdom of skill. So common vern W.
I was a little upset about the play because I like seeing big plays come together. Correct choice for Vern and the Vernation, yes. It is just most of the time huge plays like that don't come around often. Kinda like when anyone gets close to King Boo on Horror Land.
You made the right decision Vernias, don't let any of the gremlins of skill tell you otherwise. Also it was such a risk and yet it paid off! I think that proves at least lady luck was trying to be in your corner :3
That play benefited Vern no matter what because it closed the game up. He would either be 3 stars behind first place, or 2. And Sophist would likely steal from 1st with his Boo Bell anyway. I don't know how I missed this when I first watched this on Brent's video, but, yeah, that swap was the one thing Vern needed if he wanted to win. Yeah, it helped Nick for a period, but it made the game a lot closer. The only reason why Vern wouldn't go for that Warp would be because he just wants to see Brent screw with Nick. Again, dunno how I didn't see that before; Vern was absolutely right here, my apologies, man.
Nah, the warp block play was smart. It was a lose-lose situation anyways since someone else would have benefited regardless but in the end the game was close. It probably wouldn't have been as close if Brent had gotten that early lead
I've seen this same game from all four perspectives. Yes. This game was nuts. But when it came to the warp block incident. Guess what? I have to agree with both Nick and Vernias. Nick explained in his video the whole situation. Brent had 2 guaranteed bonus stars and enough coins to steal two more. It would have guaranteed him the win. So basically, the Warp Block was necessary. However, he had a 1 in 3 chance that he would have swapped with Brent. Had he not Brent would have guaranteed a win. Vern swapping with Brent was the right call and the salt was nuts. Honestly, Mario Party is the game that massacres friendships. How do I know? Because it is. It brings out the toxicity and the rage. My god. Now that I've seen everything from four viewpoints, I have a better understanding of things.
A lot of bozos here in the comments are still confused about the warp play, so allow me to break it down for you: Brent winning = bad Nick winning = good Brent not winning = happy Vern Brent winning = Vern getting bullied by nick It’s pretty simple stuff you guys
Crazy how everyone missed the part where Nick was going to convince Vern to use the Warp Block only AFTER the pink man established that he was already gonna use it just so everyone could have an excuse to call him a puppet again. At this point I don’t even know who’s more toxic anymore: Nick or everyone’s chats Selective obliviousness, am I right?
Vern Nation is more toxic in my opinion they prefer to drop Vernias first place just to leave Nick in last place even though he didn't do anything wrong and helped Vernias,to compete they keep saying that this is karma, like karma for what?
The Warp Block is a strange and powerful being. If it's any indication of how much it can change the outcome of a game, I was playing MP3 with my friends a few months ago and I used a Warp Block that put me within reach of a star. The turn ended with me getting another star from a hidden block.
I'll never find Brent's win rate annoying (everyone, stop hating someone because he's good), and I don't blame Vernias for this, I blame Nick for manipulating him into doing that.

Isn’t it weird that Brent was super mad at Vernias for his warp play but only lost because he used his wacky watch? 🤔
Either Let Brent Win for the Millionth Time Or Cause Chaos.
At least the next game of MP3 for Eevee had him being a Gigachad, also Brent is boring
16:26 Note to self: Never piss Vern off!
I was a little upset about the play because I like seeing big plays come together. Correct choice for Vern and the Vernation, yes. It is just most of the time huge plays like that don't come around often. Kinda like when anyone gets close to King Boo on Horror Land.
This video combined with Nick's chat controls party video is making me convinced that vern's livestream audience is horribly toxic for 0 reason.
You *NEED* to make Demon Vern your pfp for April Fools Day
I'm literally only watching this because everyone was screaming in chaos too much for me to understand what the warp block play even did 😭
Vern’s back must hurt from all of the carrying he was doing for Nick
This just proves that most of the chats are hypocrites. Vern did nothing wrong. Ya'll are just salty Nick won.
Vernias Vernias Vernias Vernias
Nick the type of guy to hear his business professor explain that profits = revenue - costs and have questions afterwards
The amount of bling on your fingers in the explanation is quite nice
Don't worry, Vernias. The Warp Block was used correctly.
Intro got me hooked lol🪝
Yet I’ve seen this video like 3 times
The Dice Block incident is a comparable horror story
I binge watched JJK earlier today so I actually get the reference!
If Vernias ends up cancelled, I won’t be surprised, honestly, but let’s pray to RNGesus that it doesn’t happen…
A lot of bozos here in the comments are still confused about the warp play, so allow me to break it down for you:
Brent winning = bad
Nick winning = good
Brent not winning = happy Vern
Brent winning = Vern getting bullied by nick
It’s pretty simple stuff you guys
Nick getting carried, nothing new here
Crazy how everyone missed the part where Nick was going to convince Vern to use the Warp Block only AFTER the pink man established that he was already gonna use it just so everyone could have an excuse to call him a puppet again. At this point I don’t even know who’s more toxic anymore: Nick or everyone’s chats
Selective obliviousness, am I right?
Vern Nation is more toxic in my opinion they prefer to drop Vernias first place just to leave Nick in last place even though he didn't do anything wrong and helped Vernias,to compete they keep saying that this is karma, like karma for what?
Finally, 4 different videos for the same amazing mario party match.
Knowing 4 covered this same game, this tells this was THE Mario Party game!
W VIDEO!!! Ohhh… I remember watching this from nicks pov!
Nick is vernias’s sukuna tbh
Oh Vernias, i can never be mean to you.
That "now" is really powerful xD. It resembles magic in the mario party world.
The Warp Block is a strange and powerful being.
If it's any indication of how much it can change the outcome of a game, I was playing MP3 with my friends a few months ago and I used a Warp Block that put me within reach of a star. The turn ended with me getting another star from a hidden block.
1:30 one must imagine sisyphus trolling
The warp block play was one of the greatest moments in party crashers lore, hands down. 🎉
Hot damn every vid I have seen of this game EXCEPT Eevee’s has really had him treated as an absolute afterthought in the comments.
I'll never find Brent's win rate annoying (everyone, stop hating someone because he's good), and I don't blame Vernias for this, I blame Nick for manipulating him into doing that.
I blame everyone that has a vowel in their names
To be fair vernias is just shadow Waddle Dee when he gets angry
Vernias, wether using that Warp Block was a good idea or not, this decision will HAUNT YOU FOR THE END OF TIME….. 😅
0:18 Okay, Mr. Bucket.
Ooh
Lol nick was defending vernias and now vernias is defending himself 😂
