I saw this build in a tournament 3 years ago almirantae vs Admiration... admiration was a massive underdog and used this build to smoke the current champion (almirantae)

This is the most helpful video I have seen to date of not only how to play Atriox, the game in general. Loved the combination of playing against AI so you could slow the build down for this pleb to understand, as well as playing some actual higher level games to see how you react in real time. Great guide. If there's one thing I would add it would be eradication has some really nasty combos so depending on your teammates leaders. Best example one time my buddy was playing Johnson and we did an emp erad combo in a choke and wiped 2 and a half armies and snowballed that into what was an unlikely win.

I've been using atriox forever, and I never use fortifications, already tried it a couple times with mediocre results, I need to learn more, so a couple of questions.
If you go forts then you're giving up building units at T1 right? You're just using the chosen and the starting grunts for map control, is that right?
Also, what's the fastest T2 you can get? I saw that you upgraded your second Gen before T2, is that ok as well?
Always upgrade your 2nd Gen before T2. Games always go differently but you a relying on your Chosen Micro, bases being upgraded with cheap turrets and upgrading the turrets if necessary.
Fort 1 and Plasma mines is more standard and allows for alot more aggression

you can get fort first and still build units. in fact, you’ll find that was basically the main atriox strategy for 1v1s on smaller maps if you look at the older atriox guides. fort first, expo, chosen, double racks on the expo, then send chosen with a couple jpbs to destroy an inconvenient enemy mini or take out a generator
@@S1rL1am ok so I've tried it some more and been getting mixed results but feel more confident and today I beat a Jerome for the first time ever I think 😂
I'm thinking getting as many mini steals as possible before expanding is also important, right?

Who is better overall? Atriox, Decimus, or Forge? Been trying to figure out the meta and those seem the most promising for me, i only have base leaders. I've seen Cutter does good too if you can harass a lot but I'm curious to what your opinion would be.
Liam how do you deal with people quick massing air ? I figure I should be scouting the move more but even then, switching into reavers or wolves is so power intensive you fall behind on power economy.
I think either infantry needs to be buffed vs Air or Core air units need a power cost to them..
You have marines on T1 into combat Tech for UNSC and you should be scouting and easily shut down early numbers. Or with banished 1-2 early reavers completely shuts it down
Nothing beats cutter marine spam. Until they completely get unit countered. But then I have full pop of hornets to wipe his counter

The only times i use sprit drop is when I'm spamming non stop jpb's with mines and I need more to destroy a base

How can you view Leaders and know there abilities? The game fails to explain this I feel or maybe in blind and don’t know where to look :)
Create a custom game as the leader you want to be and open the leader power menu

But disappointed that Brute Chieftain isn’t in Halo Wars 2 but then again, I’m not a Halo Fan - just a fan of Halo Wars :D

Can you use dying breath and then bulwark to heal the units befire the dying breath ends?
Yes, dying breath only activates upon death and keeps them alive for an extra 8 seconds
Yes and no, if they already triggered dying breath they are dead but they fight for 8 seconds.

I don’t wanna be the guy asking 45 Questions and ready 3 bible scriptures, but as I don’t have time to play HW2 consistently, is there any possible way you could dissect in a video (at that point in time/meta) who’s the best leaders and WHY the other leaders aren’t as good, etc; Jerome Nerf, Kinsano Hellcharge buff etc, like an up to date hero pool essentially, that would be SUPERRR helpful for someone like me to quickly watch so I’m not choosing the deadest hero and wondering why I’m trash 🤣
Check the halo wars guide in description. It has a tier list and tells you why they are ranked in that position

I got pushed and killed by an enemy colony at 2:30 once. He sent two goliaths at my base and I could not kill them quickly enough. Any tips to counter this?
