I've got a copy of The Lesser Bohemians and I'm so excited to read it as I loved A Girl is a Half Formed Thing too. Interesting to hear feelings about what you've read so far. The emotional impact of The Museum of You crept on me too - such an interesting way to get at grieving and how that grief has been buried in years of silence. I haven't read Carys Bray's other books so really want to now.
I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of the Museum of You and I absolutely adored it. I love the way Carys Bray writes flawed (and realistic) characters and family relationships and I agree, you don't realise how sad it is actually going to be!
Also looooooved The Museum of You. Very excited about getting to The Lesser Bohemians soon. I thought A Girl is a Half Formed Thing was amazing, did you see the play - it blew me away.
I got an ARC of The Lesser Bohemians at BEA and I am SO JEALOUS OF THE UK COVER danggg!! It's beautiful! Really interesting about the writing style and it being suited to her previous book but not necessarily this one, so I'm looking forward to seeing what your final call is :)
Carys Bray is a tutor on the course I did at university. It always makes me so happy when she gets mentioned on booktube. I picked up her first book the other day and can't wait to get to it.
I can't wait to read The Museum of You, I loved Carys Bray's previous books and she is very quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. Thanks for the Agnes Grey recommendation I've had it on my shelves for ages but not actually picked it up. (btw you look stunning in this video)
You just made me ashamedly realise I still haven't read A Girl is Half Formed thing after buying it when you visited lat year aha. Will get on that asap!
June was a rough month for me too! I only read about half the normal number of books per month because of travel for work. You would think that would increase the amount I read, but I was just too exhausted.
+Wiktoria Mierzwińska thanks, I'm looking forward to it! I've been once before, but it was during the winter, which was a baaaad idea! Looking forward to seeing he city in the sun :)
I really want to read Carys's book. Sounds very interesting. Besides, I saw how that gorgeous cover was made... it adds up to a very nice reading experience. Have a safe flight! Are you vlogging in Poland?
+Victoria I would love to vlog, but as I'm travelling for work I won't get a chance to do anything that interesting :( I'm going to the Lake District the week after though so might vlog that a little bit xxx
Agnes Grey was truly a joy to read. Anne Bronte's subtle feminist stances and ideas are so progressive considering the time period; it just makes me appreciate the book even more.
Hello I have just ordered the museum of you, can't wait to read it now ,have you read the trouble with goats and sheep??it was so good I gave it five stars it was by Joanna cannon best wishes :-) :-) :-) :-)

I heard so much about The Museum of You in the past weeks, but you were the first person who made me really want to read it! It sounds so wonderful :)
I also love love loved The Museum Of You! It was definitely my favourite book of June. Love how puberty was handled in the novel!

I've read Agnes Grey a couple of years ago and loved it. Definitely agree with how it is accessible in terms of diction.
The Museum of You seems to be making the rounds here on booktube. Loved hearing your thoughts.
You always read the most interesting books! The Lesser Bohemians sounds great and I'm looking forward to hearing your final thoughts :)
