It cool, but a cool concept for respwaning that'll help in a multi player server would be that an armor stand can be your bed/spawn.

It is incredibly difficult to make an entity a spawn point, as entities can move, and the game engine does not support mobile spawn points at all
@@squishmellow3 maybe make it when u place a stand the block below it become ur spawn?
@@kaisodoodle that'd work, but it'd cause a lot of lag, as again, you have to check if the stand is moving, and you have to constantly update spawn points.
not constantly. You only have to check for the spawnpoint upon respawning. Simply put a tag in the armor stand with the player's UUID, then check for an armor stand with that tag and value when the player respawns.

Love your origins content, as I'm trying to create my own origin smp with friends. But your videos can get a little confusing on where to start for new viewers. Do you have a recommended video or videos on how to start with the origins mod? Since there seems to be alot of different add-ons and fan-made features.

Cursed armor origin be like: *Look What they need to mimic a fraction of my power*
This would bê a good origin to spy on people,break all of your armor except for the boots and you are basically invisible,or Just become an armor stand in a place that fits like a armory or decoration
I wish that this origin could have upgradeable armor.
Author of this mod here, I've had this request quite a bit and it's definitely something I may add in the future since it's a fun concept for progression. I'd have to rebalance the origin around this feature a bit and make some more armour sets, but it's certainly a possibility.

There's cosmetic armor mods on curseforge and etc - i think you can try to do the same, but return the stat gain from said armor and debuffs, since those other armor sets aren't "properly fit" for that race, so it would mimic a player's let's call it "soul" migrating from one armor to another.
Don't get me wrong - the mod is cool, the idea and realisation of "possessed armor race" are good too, but it has poor compatabillity with other mods, which can have much stronger armor sets.
Ah, I missed these types of videos. I mean you showing it live is not bad, just a bit dragging it along when you don't need to. But hey, I like this origin a lot. Not a real problem with it, although one little nitpick would be to take masiive reduced damage against weapons like swords, axes, the what have you, and of course the player fists do no damage. My nitpick however. They can do what they want
overtime I want to try and mix the good parts of both styles, as I feel like both have good aspects I like about the videos, for now my main focus is to condense info a lot more, and stop over explaining things

I think Broken Lords did it the best. Omnom vampire dust ghosts. Can either literally EAT magical money, or employ an eaiser, for some of them more fun way to sustain themself - steal life from more conventionally living beings. But should the knights, even if cursed to chose one or the other, continue on the easy road when they have plenty of Dust?

Cool origin, but the no buffs and debuffs is to big a flaw haha
I'm never a fan of origins that restrict your diet. I like the Delight mods so not being able to eat the various foods, or being forced to rely on a limited resource always bums me out

the information from the polls I've done over the past week is gonna be used in combo with content experimentation to find a place where I'm happy with the videos themselves, and their performance and reactions from you guys. It's gonna be a process as I've gotta break a lot of habits I've built up over the past few years. But I am paying attention to what you guys have to say :)
That's cool bud and I look forward to hearing about it, but I am setting you back to where I had you before until you do. The origin segments are getting boring bro, look at the most recent poll I am definitely not alone. Try the suggestions given quicker krzair or I honestly believe your views/like will suffer for it, and that would be a bad thing because on the technical side you are doing a great job in production and narration, its just the content. Check it out, have you heard of Digs DnD Origins? Its still an origins mod but at least its a lot more detailed and balanced out than others, has good reuse for hundreds of mod blends.. If you did a detail video like you do for every random origin it would be easily a 20min video. Combine it with the Conquest refabricated Modpack and you have a living RPG.
So weird how all origins are weaker than basic players.

' This isn't really a good concept due to too many debuffs which takes out a lot that Minecraft has to offer such as one of them being Elytras... Literally watching all your cool friends soar through the skies as you sink to the bottom of a deep pit of water surrounded by bedrock with no building blocks whatsoever. It's unfair. It doesn't even sound fun as there are no actual new creative abilities added to this.
What could've made it better is that you could enchant the armour by consuming enchantment books which have a small chance of unlocking new abilities that could summon spirit weapons that can be guided through the air before dissipating as they consume energy from the armour meter to use.
It also allowed transmuting the armour into different types by consuming several resources to create a set of armour such as iron, gold, diamond and possibly netherite. It may make it harder but at least it will buff up the armor meter and allow you to unlock even more abilities.
Consuming an Elytra and a shield could even integrate it into the armour and allow you to be able to glide and block oncoming attacks.
You could even customize yourself by consuming armour trims, each with its own unique ability as well.
There's so much potential for this concept... Just, please allow your creativity to run wild for once. ' - Chrome
