One common bit of small talk is to share information about restaurants, movies, and TV shows. "Have you tried that new Thai place?" "Did you see Queen's Gambit?" If someone has changed some fashion aspect, it's polite to notice and say something complimentary. "Is that a new hair style? It suits you." "Where did you find such a nice pair of shoes?" With someone you see fairly often, a comment about the weather or other current condition might be enough to acknowledge someone in passing. "Nice weather -- for a duck!" "Spring has sprung!" In the US, you may occasionally hear someone talk about "moving house," but usually we just say "move." Very often, it's "move to," followed by the location of the new home. "We moved to a condo." As for video ideas, perhaps some phrases for serious situations? Showing sympathy for a loss or illness, breaking bad news, warning about an impending crisis, or other such thing. "I'm sorry to have to tell you this..." "You should know..." "You have my deepest sympathy." It wouldn't be the happiest video, but it might help English learners facing personal or interpersonal trials for the first time in their new language.
Is there a slight difference in pronunciation between the British accent and the American accent? I'm a little confused because I hear the American pronunciation too often
It’s common to use the phrasal verb ‘end up’ when enquiring about whether or not an action took place. End up followed directly by a verb should be in the ing form. You could also say: Did you move house in the end?
Madam, I have some doubtful idioms. Would you like to clear them? Please try to let me know by replying. I hope you will try to reply as soon as possible. I will be looking forward to your reply.
Let me jump into and ansking you about a problem with my screen. Every time i am watching your lessons several ants out of the blue running my screem. Is it right?
I don't like small talk. Whenever I meet one of my neighbours at the elevator, as soon a I can, I ask him/her about his/her thoughts on euthanasia. I enjoy awkward moments! 😆

Hello, Anna. I have a question. Why is used past simple tense In the phrase, "Did you hear about Eleanor?" It should be present perfect simple, right?
I❤️E.L. a Native ❤️❤️❤️
Gr8
The use of the past tense is typical of the British 🤔(all the time) thanks in advance)))
Your awesome

May , I ask you a question about the pronunciation of the word (been ) I’ve heard spoken two different ways . 🙏
Yes been with a long ee sound is the strong form, and been pronounced like bin is the weak form.
