    Was expecting 12 inch walls.

      Took about 1.5 years, spread out. I have the plans, but I'd need to edit them to make them presentable. If people want the plans, let me know!
      The 9.25 inch walls were plenty of insulation value here. Kept the costs and labor time lower too.

    It looks expensive for $40000 given that it is a very small house and made from straw clay.

      It's really just by using different/better materials that things look so much better for a lower price tag.
