☆ Πρωτεύουσα του νομού της Πέλλας είναι η Έδεσσα, χτισμένη στους πρόποδες του όρους Βέρμιο με θέα στον εύφορο καταπράσινο κάμπο. Η Έδεσσα είναι φημισμένη για τους καταρράκτες της, τα αιωνόβια πλατάνια και τα άφθονα κρυστάλλινα νερά της αλλά και την πλούσια ιστορία της.
Μερικά από τα αξιοθέατα της πόλης είναι:
Το πάρκο των καταρρακτών, μια
πανέμορφη καταπράσινη περιοχή όπου εκτός από τους καταρράκτες υπάρχει εστιατόριο, καφετέρια και Γραφείο Πληροφοριών για τους επισκέπτες.
Ο μεγαλύτερος από τους καταρράκτες, ο Κάρανος έχει ύψος 70 μέτρα. Το Υπαίθριο Μουσείο Νερού αλλά και η παραδοσιακή συνοικία Βαρόσι με τα λιθόστρωτα καλντερίμια, η οποία ήταν η πρώτη χριστιανική συνοικία που δημιουργήθηκε ως εξέλιξη του βυζαντινού οικισμού μετά την άλωση της πόλης από τους Τούρκους
Η πέτρινη τοξωτή Βυζαντινή γέφυρα στην θέση «Κιουπρί», από την οποία θεωρείται πως περνούσε η Εγνατία Οδός.
Το ρολόι στο κέντρο της πόλης, η κατασκευή του οποίου χρονολογείται γύρω στο 1900. Πρόκειται για πυργωτό κτίσμα από πελεκητή πέτρα στην κορυφή του οποίου λειτουργούν μέχρι και σήμερα 6 ρολόγια. Τέλος εντύπωση προκαλεί ο αρχαιολογικός χώρος της Έδεσσας καθώς και τα τείχη του Λόγγου που σώζονται μέχρι σήμερα.☆

Some of the attractions include the Waterfalls Park, a beautiful green area where, in addition to the waterfalls, there is a restaurant, café and an Information Office for visitors.
The largest of the waterfalls, Karanos, is 70 metres high. The Open Air Water Museum and the traditional Varossi quarter with its cobbled streets, which was the first Christian quarter created as an evolution of the Byzantine settlement after the fall of the city to the Turks.
The stone arched Byzantine bridge at the site of 'Kioupri', which is believed to have been the crossing point of the Egnatia Road.
The clock in the centre of the town, the construction of which dates back to around 1900. It is a turreted building made of chipped stone on top of which 6 clocks are still in operation today. Finally, the archaeological site of Edessa and the walls of Logos that have been preserved to this day are impressive.☆
