- The Arkansas Traveler ~ One of the best known of all American fiddle tunes. It achieved extensive popularity during the 1850's, and retained its fame throughout the American Civil War. Originally, the tune was published in 1847 by William Cumming, and several editions soon followed featuring comic lyrics. In the guise of a "comic song," it built additional fame with travelling minstrel companies. Its irresistible appeal rings down to the present day.
The band would like to give credit where credit is due to tensixsixmedia (whoever that is) for posting (and presumably shooting) this video. It's a GOODY !!! They shot this at a lovely little event in Hillsborough NH, in August of 2013. Thank you! Thank you! Whoever you are...

Ummmmm.... Here's the thing. I'm coming pretty damn late to this (RUclips) 'party', so you're going to have to bear with me. I don't think we have an actual video of that tune, but could probably figure out how to upload the track from one of our albums with an appropriate image. Would that work?
I don't see why that wouldn't work. Thanks.
Done & done. Enjoy...
