It was his everyday shave (I don’t recall him ever using anything else) - always off the puck, never a cream user, and usually with a straight razor. I can still remember sitting and watching him shave when I was small; even the thought of the Old Spice scent brings it all back across the years. Nothing beats the original Shulton Old Spice. I still have a bottle of aftershave that must be 40 years old and it still smells exactly the same. If only we could pop down to Woolies and stock up in the sales! Merry Christmas Paul - all the very best!

I'm watching your Christmas shave at almost midnight on Christmas Day. So, I didn't miss it 🙂 We have our big sit-down meal on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day we have a smorgasbord meal. Cold-cut meat croissant sandwiches, sausage balls, chips and dips, and a variety of fruits followed with special cookies and brownies. I trust you and Mrs. H had an enjoyable and very Merry Christmas!

Restarted wet shaving again 5 years ago and discovered the two pucks of Old Spice - what a treasure! Used up one but still have one left that I'm using now.😄

I have original soap and splash to use. I am debating on the razor, though. It's going to be either a Fatboy, Slim, or a red tip Superspeed. I'll use Thayers unscented witch hazel, a balm, and a house brand moisturizer. Blade will be a 5th use Gillette Nacet! I beginning to really like those blades! Thanks again for the video! JimG

Never had a problem with old soap but often with new soaps in all price categories. Exactly that burning and scratching feel on the face.
