What a game. I thought Ravemon was going to win for sure at the end there. I didn't realize Ruin mode's minus last through the turn and it would have deleted his peckmon if he moved it out. I love the flavor of having Marcus being able to attack players and have him evolve his partner just like the show. I can't wait to make the Shinegreymon and Marcus deck.
Ironically the best counter for Marcus is ruin mode, which works quite well in the ravemon deck. Ravemon comes back with no sources so you swing with it for a free jamming check, then digivolve over it to blanket their field and stop Marcus from becoming a digi
Dude you have me so hyped for BT12 and EX04 now! I loved ShineGreymon! And man was it satisfying to see Agumon and Marcus delivering a 1-2 combo finisher
Ruin Mode is a great defensive card and disruption card too. The -10,000 DP saves you a turn. Unless you're up against digimon that negate DP reduction
Actually a good fight. It seemed like rize greymon deck couldn't hold its own, but it was doing just fine the whole way through. Those security tamers were useful too
Wow I can see that Ravemon deck being a pain to go against, not sure how good it'd be but just constantly sniping at your resources while protecting it's own. But Marcus punched that bird good!
The Ravemon deck definitely didn't grab me at first, I think I really needed to see it play out. Being able to hide for a turn is so cool, and the stack of deletion effects was wild! But ultimately, Marcus Damon is one of the coolest new decks in the game. Glad to see him clinch the win - Ruin Mode preventing the Peckmon from moving out was such a good play!
Its really nice to see yellow/red get some love. Its always been one of the more interesting color pairs imo and since redYellow hybrid in the NA got ruined by a recent hit, ive not been able to play a good RY deck
Still salty that Valkyrimon wasn't given a Yellow Card Variant and was restricted to only being able to digivolve from a Lv. 5/Ultimate Red Card Digimon mostly because it's added to the canon that Angewomon has the wielder of the Fenrir Sword as one of her digivolutions.
Marcus/Masaru's punches are rated E for Everyone because it doesn't matter if your human or Digimon if you're a bad guy you getting a punch like when he one-shotted the monstrosity that was Kurata fused with Belphamon, and when he shattered Craniamon's supposed "unbreakable" shield
Man i have waited so long for Ravemon deck and i gotta say it didn't dissapoint. Can't wait to see what else its gonna get in bt13. Hopefully BM will be nuts.

I'm very outspoken about not being a fan of Data Squad, but MAN are these decks so cool, especially the Marcus one. In Magic I'm a big fan of the Gideon planeswalkers being able to turn into a creature for the turn and this is exactly that, but for Digimon. It's right up my alley. Gonna have to grit my teeth and play this when it rolls around.

Yeah they’re Cardfight Vanguard counters. They were distributed with one of the boosters iirc but you should be able to find them on Etsy as lots of people did 3D printings of them.
MARCUS FOR GAAAAAME! Oh my god what a mind blowing game, Ruinmode really saved the day with his neg 5000 DP skill and recover +1, if he didn't come out Ravemon would have had the game, also helps with double Tai & Kairi for that extra memory, but still an amazing game, I can't wait to play the new Shinegreymon.
*Spoiler* At 7:35, Paddy plays Celestial Blade to delete his own Ravemon. Shouldn't that have triggered Ravemon's On Deletion ability, which would have taken away CP's last security - thus winning him the game on the following turn?
Depends on how many cards he had. If he had more than 8 he'd have had to discard a card from his hand, but he'd only have the security card taken if he had less than 7 cards on his hand after that (or 7 or less cards to begin with, skipping discarding a card). If he had 9 or more cards then his security wouldn't be taken away (but he'd still have had to discard a card). But with all the draw effects he had, he probably had more than 9 cards
7:50 may i ask why when you deleted that ravemon you didnt activate its on deletion effect? i feel like it wouldve won if it removed that last security with the on deletion
@@TemBear no but the only practical way you can activate the deletion effect without using any other cards is by using its end of attack effect, meaning that The only way rave could have won is if they had an option card

Which after I made this comment I started counting CardPro's hand size and he would have been at 11/12 cards in hand (Think they missed a Ravemon On Deletion trigger to trash a card from hand when he had 8 in hand after another Ravemon added a security to his hand).
Wow what a battle amazing as always from the both of you. And my guy Paddy.. way to rock the Ravemon, I want to build that deck when it comes to English Format and I see big potential with it. It's the first type of hand control we have in the game now and that can be huge. I see support in the future. With Ruin mode it shows us that they have plans for more Data Squad stuff. I predict more Ravemon support, Burst Mode Evolutions of the teams Megas and even hopefully another Demon Lord in the form of Belphamon(I don't know how to spell name). Yo that ravemon security beat down is actually kind of nutty, but since yellows whole thing is recovery you would have to get mad amounts of security +1s. But the game was pree gud.
This channel has really gotten me interested in the Digimon TCG. Too bad it's super unpopular in my area (and super expensive pls why) Doesn't help buying cards online is also really expensive. Some places slap a £20 shipping fee (still better then buying packs but)
It's actually one of the more affordable card games. Games like Yugioh or Magic are WAY more expensive. But yeah, people have been waiting for a online version of this game like Yugioh Master Duels, Magic Arena or Pokemon TCG Online for a while now.

Hey, new to the Divimon TCG. Quick question for anyone: If my digimon has an effect that states "Main: suspend this digimon to do X" is that activateable on the turn it is played? Also, can I use this effect on my opponents main phase instead of my own?
Yes you can activate this effect the turn that it's played. Digimon can't attack on the turn they are played, but they can activate effects. And no, the "Main" Timing only works during your own Main phase.
Correct me if I'm wrong but should t have paddy won? The turn where paddy deleted both ravemons protag had 7 cards in hand which means he added a sec to his hand (sec2>1 ,hand 7>8) on the first ravemon but on the second wouldn't he also trash then add sec to hand? (Hand 8>7 ,sec 1>0, hand 7>8) so even if protag used burst mode going back to 1 sec paddy had 2 checks?
Security Checks can't win the game. You need to attack a player without security to win the game. So if Protag had 1 Security and Paddy had a Mon with Security Attack +1, that would still only break the one Security and not automatically win. Paddy would have still had a second attack to win the game then
7:36 how did he resolve this card when Ravemon was lvl 11 and Shinegreymon was lvl 12. Sorry for asking but could someone enlighten me as I don't play the game.
@@guncannon109 He'll at least have as much support as the Rosemon stuff since Shinegrey+MirageGaogamon got a few support sets already with Gaoga from that Digimon Arise set and ShineGrey from the Tamers across time set. Not including what's gonna be added in BT13
@@guncannon109It's more a Royal Knight set than it is a Data Squad set. There are too many cards in that set that have nothing to do with Data Squad like Jesmon and Alphamon support. There are some characters included from Data Squad but so far it's either the main character only (marcus) or things that were not supported from Data Squad in EX4 like Richard Sampson and Rosemon (Yoshino). Richard Sampson and Kudamon makes sense since Kudamons mega is a Royal Knight. And Rosemon is included because she is the only one of the Data Squad tamers that hasn't gotten any real support yet. I don't completely sort out the possibility of them releasing the Burst Modes in this set but i don't think it's going to happen, at least not for all of them.
Interaction question; if Paddy had promoted their Digimon in the raising area on their last turn, would the lingering DP Reduction effect have destroyed them since they were at 5000 DP, thus triggering the inherited effect of Pinamon to gain 1 memory, then tapping Keenan to gain another memory and draw a card?
@@daredae436 Depends on the translation of the On Delete effects on the Ravemon line. On digimoncard io its "[On Deletion] If not deleted by battle....." Which I believe would work. Also in the glossary on the Digimoncard site in the rules under Timings for On Deletion "......, or deleted when its DP is reduced to 0"
@@daredae436 Then yes they would only draw one card and not gain memory since deletion by 0 DP is not a card effect, even if the reduction to 0 DP is caused by one.
His attack wasn't stop, it just caused a giant chain. His attack continues at 9:23. Marcus effect is that when he gets suspended (as he did by attacking) he can let a digimon digivolve into a digimon with greymon in it's name. This effect was used to digivolve Shinegreymon Ruin Mode, which then caused a chain of effects to happen, all of which play out before the attack finishes.
Because effect of shinegreymon ruin mode, made dp - 10000 on the field, when the digimon less than 10000 db going to field they going to die becuase of minus dp,
He couldn't since Shinegreymon Ruin Modes -10k DP reduction was lingering for the turn. So if he had promoted Peckmon Peckmon would have lost 10k DP and since it only had 5k, it would have been instantly deleted when promoted.

Level is not the power, level is the evolution stage, they both were lvl6 mega (or ultimate in japan)

No. Needs to have evolution sources with bird or avian in its traits. No sources = no effect

@@daredae436 Depends on the translation of the On Delete effects on the Ravemon line. On digimoncard io its "[On Deletion] If not deleted by battle....." Which I believe would work. Also in the glossary on the Digimoncard site in the rules under Timings for On Deletion "......, or deleted when its DP is reduced to 0"
@@burpinator1 this is in regards to the tamer, The tamer says when your Digimon is deleted draw one card and then if it's by effect gain one memory
@@daredae436 Then yes they would only draw one card and not gain memory since deletion by 0 DP is not a card effect, even if the reduction to 0 DP is caused by one.

That's not how all of them work ruin mode in particular does a similar effect to ice wall and Venusmon where it affects your entire field.

9:04 how did Marcus stop his attack? What just happened?
His attack wasn't stop, it just caused a giant chain. His attack continues at 9:23. Marcus effect is that when he gets suspended (as he did by attacking) he can let a digimon digivolve into a digimon with greymon in it's name. This effect was used to digivolve Shinegreymon Ruin Mode, which then caused a chain of effects to happen, all of which play out before the attack finishes.
Long gone are the days when digimon was easy to get into... the newest starter decks are 20$ a piece.

Because effect of shinegreymon ruin mode, made dp - 10000 on the field, when the digimon less than 10000 db going to field they going to die becuase of minus dp,

Ruin Modes DP reduction was still active. If he had promoted Peckmon from the breeding area it would have had 0DP and been instantly deleted

He couldn't since Shinegreymon Ruin Modes -10k DP reduction was lingering for the turn. So if he had promoted Peckmon Peckmon would have lost 10k DP and since it only had 5k, it would have been instantly deleted when promoted.
