- So we got round to tuning the Pure800 turbo on the M140i, made some pretty serious numbers...

So it turns out after filming the video I found out the Ethanol content was too high, ideally if it was at an approx E30 ratio we would have gotten much closer to 600WHP. Gonna fit an Ethanol Content sensor and get back on the dyno, also the 18% correction factor is just something MSL mentioned, main thing is we've got the WHP to work with.
Still a monster mate, supercar killer loving the content keep it up 👍🏼

I am blown away by the fact a little hatchback, can make more power than a stage 3 RS5 (Jamie from Officially Gassed just had his on the dyno).
Mine is going in for a 200 cell sports cat, further remap, and XHP3 next month, and I am so excited :-) Obviously nowhere near yours, but it'll do me for going to work !
Just to update, the Wagner 200 cell cat, ITG panel filter, and remap has been very smooth and enjoyable for a daily driver.
455bhp/634nm.

@@THBULLDOZER i compared the s3 to the rs3 , and this m140i is a lower spec compared to his old m2 . great garrage in any shape tho ;)
The mk5 content is much better, much more realistic and relatable, not all of us can afford new Rs3 then just going 500hp straight away then the same with bmw, just not relatable anymore

More than likely yea lol, i highly doubt this engine is healthy when being this powerful.

Most of the tuners I use recommend Tesco Momentum, generally I’ve found cars perform better for me when on it
@@TRHamza agreed. Every car I’ve had tuned has too and it’s what I’ve been recommended wherever possible.
Not much difference in vpower to momentum

if you live in the states buy an m240i its the same engine
Proper sick car just need to black out some things like the wing mirrors rear outer badge and the inside of the front bumper
once its tuned up id love to see some 0-60 and 1/4 mile
You don’t multiply by 1.18 you divide by 0.82. Or if you want to multiply by 18% transmission losses, it needs to be by 1.219512195121951 (100/82). You’re essentially turning a fraction into a decimal. So we’re wanting crank (100) but dyno showing whp at an ‘18% loss’ (82) hence 100/82 = 1.2195... Therefore you’re 603 crank on pump, 654.57 on E.
