- While Spectating at Maryland International Raceway. I caught a video of this beautiful Duster. The video does this car no justice its a great looking and running car. The driver lifted early and still goes a 7.86 at 142 #dragracing #bracketracing #mopar

Love the sound of a big inch motor. On the rich side too. Goes 7.86 without pushing it. So nice!
Never really liked the looks of Dusters. UNTIL NOW!!! The big wheels and tires really make it come together aesthetically. Goes like stink,sounds awesome. GREAT job!!!
They do make pretty good-looking drag cars, but this one does stand out above the rest

My 70' Duster (Black on Black)....is about 2 seconds slower (but just fine for my old self). Very nice leave, and beautifully consistent pull on the motor. Wicked cool....grats!! ✌😎

Single gear clutch will save you time anywhere, especially on the dragstrip. Love the sound of that beast!! Pls post another vid with hood open
I didn't hear a shift. So, it's a clutch, with no tranny?
@@vinskeeter At a certain class the cars don't shift, they use the same system as the biggest boys, that is the finger-type pressure system. Look up top fuel clutch and you'll see what I mean. It's a great system but you need alot of torque to set it in motion

Good to see another woman commenting! Been street racing myself since I learned to drive at age 12. That Duster is a beast! I wouldn't know WHAT to do w a sedan! Always have had FAST cars. There isn't any other type of car as far as I'm concerned!

newbie here... I'm not hating... just curious to know this wasn't a false start? Can you move forward between the last yellow just before the green in this type of racing ?
It wasn't a false start it was a pretty good reaction .034. There is a little bit of movement you can make if your staged shallow.
@@BJ_Boswell ok cool. So just curious… if just before it’s green I step on the gas and let off the break but I don’t actually move forward till green that’s a legal start ?
