No they won't be, this ultimately changes nothing as you can buy phone numbers in bulk where each one can cost as little as a couple of cents. If someone really wants to do something terrible on roblox this changes absolutely nothing, but only makes this more annoying for regular people. They did this just to put how they improved their security on their report to investors instead of doing real change.
Something I know is that it isn’t over yet, Roblox allows up to 10 accounts to have the same phone number verified, but when you eventually get blacklisted from the groups you were trolling on that account, you can just remove the phone number and put it on a new account. So I would say there’s still hope. Hope you can still have some fun by doing that!
This is also bad because if there's another data leak like in 2012, millions of newly added phone numbers can just be leaked, leading to potentially worse outcomes externally
A way you can troll the MRs and workers in Frappe is asking them for the Tin Of Beans item. They argue that its a secret. Then you can say its a secret menu item. If they keep saying they cant get it then ask them why the beans is a flavor then. If they start talking about how its not a flavor say "I'll bet you it is" and if they backdown or keep going on about it then go get the beans. (Theres a wood pallate floating in the middle of the water directly behind spawn. its inbetween two islands) The MRs keep arguing that its not a flavor nor a secret menu item but they keep circling back and saying "Well its a secret item"
Tbh this makes it harder for roleplay groups too given the audience that actually play these games from customer/guest perspectives tend to be under 13 users, who then go on to try and work there. Not all U13's have a phone number.
You may be able to use a phone number across multiply accounts if so this wont affect trolls but will affect teens that don't have phones like me I wont get a phone till I'm around 17 because technically I don't really need a phone till then

As a note, you can probably make an infinite amount of these numbers just only needing a new email which would only take a few seconds to create.

I think you can verify your phone number up to 5 times, and then if you’re done with the alt, you can unverify and reverify on another account. Yes I know about it because I’ve verify accounts with phone numbers multiple times, but yes you can troll in trainings or being a worker, it’s just gonna be a bit more difficult to do that.

Any children who do not have verified phone numbers will be unable to use basic features either. This likely isn’t a catastrophic change to the entire community, but it is to trollers and is generally a massive inconvenience to people like me without a phone number linked to this account. So is it a good update? Generally-speaking, yes because it prioritizes children’s safety. In regard to more nuanced users like me? Absolutely not.

I get what they are trying to do right now, but that is also hurting a younger player base and unverified users (those who hadnt verified for vc).
I am not in any of these situations i named. The problem is, if you are unverified on roblox (doesnt always mean you're less than 13), you cant private chat in game with anyone.
And those who are less than 13 technically cant even do anything on roblox.
All of the recent security updates are good, but it wouldve been much better if roblox ACTUALLY moderated their platform themselves
@@glorytoukraine1738 Because it is so easy to circumvent bans. It takes *seconds* to create a new account and join a game. Bans mean nothing. These degens do not care about their accounts. They will do anything possible to gain access to the games. Implementing measures one by one can hinder them.
