Any tips or advice on the video is appreciated. Was my first time making a twitch informational video. Let me know what else you'd like to see. Sorry for the camera cutting out for a short second. Wiring bad on the adapter.
i just cant get them to work on chat bot im getting this 09:40 Failed to send the message... Are you connected with the account that you're trying to send a message? and i have them working before but since of reinstallation nada watching tutorials going by the book just the sound wond go trough on previous is all ok but when typing command nothing ideas? And yes everything is connected etc
Quick question, i made it for youtube streaming but the viewers hear it from my speakers through the mic like faded .. how can I make it sound like from their device and not from my speakers? 🤔
man, i followed everything to the T and i cant get it to play back lol *flips table* but thank you so much for this, it is the best well explained video, and im sure i am missing something. maybe its the twitch bot that isnt working right idk.
Been a hot minute since I've touched my twitch stuff but some ideas-- 1. Make sure the bot is connected to your channel. Make sure the Oauth code and everything is up to date. 2. Make sure the command capitalization and whatnot match 3. Make sure the program isn't muted. That's some obvious stuff I know but it's what I got atm off the top of my head at 5 am lol. Hopefully you get it to work
@@Davvon lol was about 4.am for me when I gave up and just played a lil cyberpunk haha, thank you, I noticed that when I had streamlabs open it wasn't picking up any sounds like you'd normally see, desktop mic etc etc idk what happened but might be an issue, I also keybound some things, may just go back to default just in case as well, that or start over from scratch lol I am determined to get it working so my chat can scare the ever loving hell out of me when playing phasmophobia or some horror game 😁or any game for that! I'm very jumpy lol happy holidays!
@@Davvon update XD because i feel its hilarious and needs to be known.. i had accidently blacklisted myself from commands (in users, couldn't preview anything when i was trying to test it out) but was working fine when a buddy came in offline chat and tested alerts eventually noticed my mistake. all is well!! thanks again for this tutorial!
Hey, I've been using the ChatBot sounds for a couple of months and as my channel gets bigger I'm starting to get some issues... In chatbot, if a sound is already playing , all commands sent during that file being played won't be triggered. Do you know a way to create some type of "queue"? That way all the sounds would eventually play, one after the other
How do you play the sounds from the chatbot without using the “!” command prefix? I watch a streamer who has a laugh sound that automatically plays whenever someone types “lol”
Hi Great video! I cant seem to get it too work. Any tips? i did everything you said in ur video but when i try the !commend there is no sound. And my computere is not on mute....Pls help
how can you disable them one by one? when i stream minecraft, i dont mind sounds playing, but i dont want them to play when im playing something like subnautica
I've tried following every single step, multiple tutorials but my sounds does not work. They won't play and tried to reinstall multiple times as well..
There's now a big problem with ChatBot, apparently the desktop application doesn't allow me to log in on Twitch any more, and every time I try to reinstall Chatbot, Streamlabs sends me to the Cloudbot page and no desktop app is available to download... Any info on that?
Does anyone know if there is a way to set it so it can only be used once per stream? I have a redeem that chat can have their own sound command when they enter stream, but I don't want it abused (I forgot to check before making the redeem about cool down amounts)
So i did all the triggers with sounds in the bot.. it plays the sound with the trigger but a member tested it and she didnt here any sound from the bot. Must u be online streaming to hear the sound as a member?
Yes. In order for someone to hear the sound you must be live. Otherwise there is no audio feed for them to even hear. Best way to test if you didn't want to test on your live account is make a 2nd streaming account (test account) and connect it to that, go live, and tell someone you know to go there and test it. However, if you are offline but someone types in the alert and you CAN hear it on your end more often than not they will also hear it on their end
Been awhile since I've tweaked mine but I add to the sounds tab to separate from other commands that I use. I have way too many commands to be honest and being able to just hit the sounds tab helps keep them separated
So I'm able to hear it through my headphones (i dont have speakers) using audio output capture in SLOBS. The test runs fine, but my viewers cant hear it when they type it in. Any suggestions?
Do you hear it through your headphones when they type it in or just the test? What is your audio audio settings on slobs for your games? Is it setup for desktop capture or game capture? Feel free to hop in the discord and send me screenshots of your slobs settings. Might speed it up a bit
does this only work if you have a capture card? if you stream straight from a console it wont work? i added sounds on chatbot i can hear the sounds fine online/offline but when my chat types in a command it does not work for them pls reply i have been trying to figure this out for days and there is no info saying you NEED a cap card in order this to work maybe thats obvious and im just dumb lol.
I don't run off console so do not have experience with this. However, I would assume you would need it in order for the stream to hear it since it plays off a PC. Not sure how it would be workable just off a console. Hopefully I answered/understood your question correctly
@@Davvon thanks yeah i figured you need the card as well, i ordered one just waiting for it to come in! thanks for the reply and great video i have all my sounds set up for when my elgato comes in.
setting the loyalty points to 10 or everything above 0 will result in no sound. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to connect the loyalty system to streamlabs chatbot too?
Off the top of my head no. I would just end up giving you whatever google spits out at me. Never owned a Mac. :( Only one off the top of my head is nightbot but don't think it has sound commands
You add a command in the commands tab. I could make a short video on it but the quick run down is go to commands Add a new command with the + then add the command in the name. For example "sounds" Then in the description of the command put the list of your sounders that you created. Then when a user types !sounds in your chat it will trigger the description with the list of sounders to show in chat. Apologize if this is confusing. Doing this at work off my phone based off memory
@@Davvon That would be very helpful, what I am doing now is adding the command chatbot, then adding the same command in stream elements, so that they show up the on the list when a viewer does !commands
You need a PC or a Capture card to use the program. If you have it set up for the stream you can use your phone with the twitch app to test the commands but AFAIK can't be run off phone
Finally information about sound commands in the Internet.
Thanks!
figured out that i had the voting on. thats why the sounds weren't playing in my stream haha. thanks fam

As far as I know this works for both SLOBs and OBS.

not sure if anyone else is having this issue but it seems the audio is too low even at max volume, anyone have a fix?
Hi, thanks for the content! However, when i try some of its, its works fine, but when my followers try to use it doesn't work, why? I stream from pc.
In the setting for the sound command there is a permissions drop down menu. Make sure it is set to everyone
@@Davvon it is, and the cooldown is set to 0, maybe is a bug, i don't know.

Was really helpfull , one question tough , my friends cant hear it on their phone , is that because only people on pc can hear that ?
As far as I know it should work. I could be wrong though but it should play just like any gameplay from your stream should
I notice it will play if I just point to a file on my pc, i don't have to add it to sounds, is there a benefit to adding it to the sounds tab?

Can you do this with cloudbot streamlabs?
