the stories about /theory(I think some reasons ) is about how u were sleeping and then u got up, u been planning to kill them , u were hesitant, u never wanted to do that. But somehow, I think that u then on regretted it, remember Omori? A boy called Sunny in there has the same experience, so our character kinda forgot it, like denial, but it’s mental, so u went back to sleep,that’s when in ur dreams, u realised how u were, how the kids loved u, no matter what. even if u they didn’t go together to play with each other, that’s when u went insane, u hallucinate. U denied every single second of their screams, their horror, their pains, their love for u. Theory / story 2: u simply had amnesia , like actually, u forgot everything, then u grabbed the gun, and killed them, cuz u thought they kidnapped u, cuz u got amnesia, then u go back to ur ordinary state, simply went back to sleep, when u woke up, blood, everywhere, there, here, then the story was played Theory/ story 3: u were sleepwalking when u killed them, u simply had anger at them sometimes, u would let them out in ur dreams of killed them as it doesn’t affect the real lives, but one day, ur dream made u walk, so every single death, u did in ur sleep they died. Once u woke up, u found out that it simply wasn’t a dream.. u went into denial and simply denied it to the point you never knew. Theory/story 4: u were bullied by other kids, the caregiver didn’t care at all, book says so in the bedroom. one day, u got bullied to the point u snapped. U grabbed the gun in ur caregivers room (for self defense) then killed all those 16 kids. The simply locked the door and left, u then woke up, u decided to get up. way that when u look in the mirror, u destroy it, u hate the mirror, which is ur reflection, so the kids hated u for appearances. lol, idk, unless the creator of the game says what, l’ll make these theories
Since I couldn't even get past the "do not cross" area because I somehow couldn't find the gun- I thought whoever killed the family (didn't even realize it was an orphanage until I got outside) left us there on purpose and boarded up the house to trap you in the house for the rest of your life, but then I decided to watch a walkthrough and all along, we are the killer?? How? How could one kid somehow kill 15 children and 1 adult all in one night!?
