I've considered for years now that Bahá'u'lláh didn't want women to have to make the sacrifice of serving on the House of Justice. After all, no one runs for this office. They just get elected from the Bahá'í world and have to leave their jobs and move to Haifa to serve on the House of Justice, a world body that must take up most of their time. As Mr. Taherzadeh points out, a woman would be torn between family obligations and cares and her duties on the institution. Men may be torn, too, after all, but not in the same way women would be.
What a wonderful, enlightening and uplifting series of talks. Such a treasure! Thank you so much for sharing.
During the fast is an excellent time to listen Adib Teherzadeh's penetrating insights.
