from what i understand JRA will refinish parts and they like to use new parts and force match serial numbers i know they recently did this with their polish builds
I have a couple JRA - they do always look nice. A 1969 Izzy build and a 1970 Tula. The mags fit tight. I don't shoot them much they are just collectors now.
I think Russia helped Romania setup their tooling. The top cover in my Type 68 kit is a real Type 68 top cover. The number matches the rest of the kit.
Yeah that's what I hear and it kind of shows too considering my Romanian RPK which is very early is identical to a Russian RPK. I just ordered one of these kits. Can't wait for the challenge of building it
Also, this is my extra comment for the algorithm considering this video is very informative and I've watched it like four times in excitement and anticipation for this AK parts kit to come in lol
Fun fact South Korea also makes a copy of the akm called the DAK47. It would be nice if they would import kits to the states
Thank you for sharing such a rare akm
Thanks man! You're welcome!

Man that's some rough machine work right there. Awesome kit though, great historic piece
My Romanian dust covers all look exactly like your Russian dust cover

@@Real11BangBang I appreciate that. I just got the rifle back finished. I should have another video up tonight.
Well I have subscribed and hit the bell notification so I'll be waiting
Thumbs up for nubbies. Cool kit too!
I think the hole on the button is supposed to be a drain hole, other countries like Russian also put drain holes in most of their AK lower handguards.
I think you might be right. That makes sense.
