Queen is one of the biggest British rock bands formed in 1970. Freddie Mercury had one of the best voices around with an amazing range. He was a real showman as the live concerts show. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is their most famous song but they had so many great hits in the 70's-90's such as "We Are The Champions", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", "Another One Bites The Dust", "We Will Rock You", "Love Of My Life", "You're My Best Friend", "Who Wants to Live Forever", "Fat Bottomed Girls", "Killer Queen" etc.
Brian May/ lead guitarist wrote this while Freddie was to sick to do a video& couldn't stand in rhe recording booth. Vocals were done in one take, you wouldn't know how sick he was.
The song chronicles the effort of Freddie continuing to perform despite approaching the end of his life! When they recorded the song in 1990, Freddie’s condition had deteriorated to the point that Brian had concerns as to whether he was physically capable of singing it. “I’ll F-ing do it it, darling” Freddie said. “Vodka down - and he went in and killed it, completely lacerated that vocal.” Brian said. 💪💪🎶🎶
Freddie at the time of recording this song was so ill he had to sit at the mixing desk to sing it, that fantastic vocals came from a man who couldn't hardly stand anymore. Brian wrote it, and said the song was the band's way of helping Freddie to find the end before came. I think it was for all of them to get used to the realization Freddie would soon be gone.
believe it or not but this is the voice and performence of freddie when he was very very sick and knew he was dying.. and yet he sang another masterpiece... RIP Freddie long gone but never forgotten.
This video, as you pointed out, was a compilation of not just their past music videos but also their various concerts; including Live Aid ‘85, Wembley Stadium, and Knebworth Park. The video was compiled together as Freddie Mercury was living his last days; dying as a result of bronchial pneumonia, which was brought on by AIDS. After Mercury’s death, the video made it to MTV where it appeared within a matter of days after Freddie died.
When they recorded this song Freddie wasn't healthy enough to do the kind of video he would normally do, so they used clips from previous songs to keep things entertaining.
Your right, and your reaction is beautiful... This song came in France as just he died, that's why the video is a remembrance of their career... We all miss Freddy and cry for him... Love from France 🇫🇷😘
Hello, I would like to say that for me the most important point that I always remember when I listen this is that the song was written knowing that Freddie Mercury was sick and this music legend sang it while he was dying, it leaves me speechless... I sincerely believe that we should all apply that message in our lives when a problem paralyzes us, "show must go on". If I can recommend you to see Dimash's version of this song, you may like it, and if you make a reaction you will make me very happy. Thank you for sharing your reaction and I hope you enjoyed this historical anthem. Much encouragement and greetings from Spain.
Thank you so much for this comment,we always feel emotional listening to this song, like you rightly said, applying the meddling the song to our lives. We’ll definitely be checking out Dimash version sure it’ll be amazing too.
I find it more enjoyable without the video. This one and Was It All Worth It they knew might be the last track on the last album (this one was). They took the opportunity to make it a goodbye, as well as with These Are The Days Of Our Lives. I'm sure it was quite emotional for all involved.
I can't imagine watching someone that close to tou going through that.❤ YOU FREDDIE!
Thank you, today is Freddie ´s birthday
Really? Nice one.👍🏽

Brian did most of the composition
As said by Brian in many interviews and on tv
He and Freddie decided on the theme and wrote the song together
@@bluebell3720 yes Freddie always had input with every single song, lyrically and musically.
@@deboraclark5791
They co wrote it
Not Brian had a song and Fred tweaked it
Today's Freddie's birthday,
Happy birthday Freddie!!!
Happy Birthday Freddie 🥳💕
