Thanks for this. I'd checked out two other videos that just confused me on this one. Yours was clear and concise (currently training as a volunteer FF).
Thats huge. Thank you for taking the time to reach out. I'm glad you've found the resource helpful. And thank you for stepping up, we couldn't be more grateful for the effort in volunteers like yourself. Keep up the strong work. Have you looked into any career positions recently?
Firefighter Ambitions Thanks. I'm 49 years old and I've been in another career for a long time. I'm doing this as another way to contribute to the community, so it will likely stay at the volunteer level for me.
That is HUGE! I'm glad you've found it helpful. Thank you for taking the time to reach out. Are you training with rope for personal use or career purposes?
@@FirefighterAmbitions career purposes. i’m 16 to in a firefighting academy at a career center extension of my school. it’s the Gilbreath Reed Career Technology Center. They have a fire academy that will lead you to get certified and take the state exam your senior year. i’m in fire 1 and we’re on the ropes unit right now!
@@lohanmicahtv6684 That is awesome. What a privilege to have that opportunity. Working hard like you are now will play a tremendous role come firefighter testing process time. Do me a favor and keep me posted on how things go throughout the program, I'm interested to see your journey unfolds. 💪
Hey man just give you an update, tomorrow is my semester 1 final exam and we’re doing two minute drill, a search and find and a smoke maze. i’ll let you know how I do
Brittany A hey I’m not 100% sure what that exact rope name was called. It was a small diameter static rope. The PMI isostatic ropes are similar examples Are you in fire academy?
