Now this is how a band should record. All together as one. Seeing each other, feeding off each other, knowing the nuances of each others movements and playing their instruments to exact precision and I hope she doesn't mind me saying so, but Dionne Bennett's voice is an instrument of power and depth I haven't heard in a long time. This is what I see and hear with Slowly Rolling Camera. A band in tune with itself because its content and lyrics have meaning and substance. These people clearly believe with their hearts that the music they are creating and playing is true and real. This is why I am enjoying this band and as I've said before, they are now a gold standard by which they are now a new genre making new ground on their own so others will follow in their wake. You guys make it look so easy, but it sounds so so so good. It's like nutritional auditory food. Must have and delicious.
I'd be willing to bet it was not recorded the way the video shows. The video is the video, not the recording process. Extremely doubtful when recording that the singer would have the mic in her hand, instead it would be on a boom in a vocal booth.
