Cool to see you doing video games now. One thing that I would suggest is to try to lure the monster into different areas and then while it's in there try to close off some of the holes it emerges from. At least the ones that are closest to the safe room so it can't try to cut you off. (Also the rabbit does make Lambert leave. You just immediately shot him before he noticed it.)
how do u close them? explosives?
@@soyboi6979 I wish. No you just got to barricade the holes with whatever you can find. If you put enough stuff in there the monster isn't able to exit. At the very least it slows the monster down.

The idea of hopping out through the slit the sniper is shooting you through, I wouldn't go for it.
I rather deal with the enemy I know I can outsmart and get around, rather then the uncertainty of what the German's might do to me. 90% chance I just get shot, or I outsmart this animal, I'm going with the animal.
Honestly the other thing as well being, securing an exit is a good idea, but with ya know, it being WW1 outside, it might actually be a better idea to just stay in the bunker as long as possible. Have an exit strategy prepped, but until it's burrowed into every room and escaping it is impossible, it might be the best to gather all the food into the safest location you can find, maybe even the ruins for a bit, and just hunker down, as rescue might come or the war might end. Even if it's the Germans showing up raiding the place, good odds will keep the monster busy for a while, or if the monster leaves, then even safer.
Basically TLDR: the monster is safer than the frontlines of WW1. (Haven't watched video yet for reference)
I also think the germans would not even bother taking the player prisoner. It’s likely just an oversight from the game, but why didn’t the guy up top have a gun on him? It almost seems as if he tried to do that exact thing in an attempt to surrender, only to find the people watching his position unwilling to bother with all that.
@@ExInfamous Eh depends on the circumstance, gives better odds than trying to fight them by yourself. Ideally though the goal would not to be caught at all and use the monster as defense, as outside random bombing taking you out, which seems less likely especially if pitch up in the ruins are as deeper inside, seems like the best bet in a bad situation.

I'd uh.. I'd probably just die-
I like these different sorta videos (sorta like critiquing a playthrough).
*Some feedback:* Unless the game is co-op or is vital for the one playing to have someone to bounce their dialogue around with, I think for single-player games it makes more sense to have one person only narrating/talking.
This holds especially true for single player horror games as well as story heavy ones, as having multiple people chatting, but only one playing can lead the one playing to not get more invested into the story/setting, and just goof off. Which (if done often enough) can detract from the video.
Glade your playing actual games and not games trying to be movies. I think the modern prey game would be perfect for you, multiple routes and strategies.
Are you aware of the numorous copycat channels making almost identical "how to beat" videos? As far as im aware nerd explains is the originator of this modern version of the video format. So many channels making similar videos its hard to keep track
NerdExplains this recent game kick you're on i've really liked! I wouldn't mind a agme or two being mixed in regularly with the other content
I like the idea that you’re exploring video games so many survival scenarios, such as resident evil, silent Hill or even GTA. I always wonder if I could survive any of these scenarios

Doing more horror games is an amazing idea. It gives titles that a lot of people are familiar with a chance to be beaten, and you already know when playing until dawn for example, people would criticize the in game choices, opting their opinion on what would be better instead.
This is actually really cool. Survival horror games basically test the Nerd Explains ability to actually survive the situations their in.
