It’s honestly kind of sad because the mom is very clearly at fault. She lets her son act like this and shelters him from consequences. Literally if she had just made him spend a whole year there the kid might have had a chance. Middle school is a HUGE eye opener when you act like that. I was mega cringe in 7th grade because I wanted people to think I was cool and I got bullied into a way better person lol
Something similar happened to me.
I used to be a wimp like I was scared of everything then I went to this charter school and most of the class were bullies and the whole school year I got picked on and on the last day I finally snapped and Started chasing them around the class swinging wildly and ever since that day I've finally uh "grew a pair," if you catch my drift
