Just picked one of these up. I'm more of a "car" guy but these do everything you need them too for sure with plenty of room. So much quicker than I thought it would be.
Great. Not like the new Audi's. Surprisingly low maintenance costs as well. And very DIY-able, I've had my Prestige now for 3 years too btw. You won't wake up with engine issues, and actually of you look it up, this engine is very, very reliable.
@@jketphanh22 Funny you say that, I had the 2014 S4 but it was totaled out in an accident so I replaced it with the SQ5. I had a check engine light on the S4 and it needed new timing chain and tensioners b/c it was out of time which can happen on these cars after 100K miles (especially with a tune which I had on the S4) so I would try and find a lower mileage one. The SQ5 has been great so far though 👍 nothing better than a weird sleeper SUV with a supercharger lol
This looks like the Roc…which is nice because I want a “real life” review of one of these cuz some bozo telling me how great these are while wearing shorts and sandals in December is not real life to me. I live in Buffalo and im seriously considering getting one of these to daily so this gave some good perspective. Plus they don’t know the life and death scenario of a Wegmans parking lot like we do, which also factors in lol.

how many miles did you purchase the car with? im currently looking at a 2017 sq5 with 71,000 miles and Im wondering if its a good buy. What do you think? My other option would be a 2018 sq5 with 54,000 miles but there's something about the supercharger that I prefer so much more over the new turbocharged engine. Do you think the 2017 will last me a while considering it being a little on the higher mileage side?
I love this body style of the Audi SQ5! I keep getting confused though... Sometimes I see a 2017 SQ5 in your body style, then I'll see another 2017 SQ5 in the newer body style that I don't care for. Is there a difference between the 2016 SQ5 vs the 2017 SQ5 in the older body style? Thanks.
I'm in Rochester- I sold the sq5 about a year ago and purchased a different daily but I loved that thing! Get an intake for it- the supercharger wine is awesome!
Which next generation model would you recommend? My pal had a 2019 bi-turbo diesel, but had a fair few issues, major one being the transmission replacement under warranty. Other issues being weird electrical gremlins, like sensors going off at random. I like this generation of Q5 too, but want the updated interior
This generation specifically with the 3.0 supercharged v6 is one of the most reliable used SUVs you can find, yeah you’d be losing the newer interior but get a much better drivetrain

Thanks man! I purchases a three year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty for the car was im not to worried about the high coast preemptive maintenance. The car has given me no problems and been very reliable!
@@TheAlexSolomin I can't remember exactly but I think it was around 2,200 dollars. The car has been nothing but reliable, specially with the amount of miles on it. Only thing was a sway bar link went in the suspension I had to replace. I'm actually trading it in tomorrow to a great dealership if you are interested in purchasing!
