Howzit Micheal I really enjoy ur fishing and keeping us posted on margate pier..I'm an enthusiastic follower from Durbs...Just one word of advice bru..with all due respect bru.try not to make it a norm for others as well ..To used those Handrails as a platform to reel in fish...Worst case scenario sumone can fall backwards onto pier if line snaps of fish gets off...or maybe even youngsters can slip thru the handrails bru...God bless and you tc bru..much appreciated
Hi there Ivan, yes I totally agree 👍. Will refrain from this practice. Will definitely encourage others not to do as well. Thank you greatly for pointing 👉 out that safety issue that I missed. All the best for the festive season 🙌 👍.
Wow, thank you Sir. Please don't stop this Hobby or sport. The day you stop should not be your decision unless you have no other option to or forced to due to whatever the reasons maybe.
Greetings from Sydney Australia ,always looking to learn new things , also the quality gear that you guys are using can be different to what we use down here , can you please tell me the rod and reel that you used , stay well and keep on posting videos 👍.
Good day Lenny Gid Due to the conditions recently with regards to the winds and strong rip tides, I have to cast out further than usual. So, the rod that I am using is quiet a heavy rod, it is strong and can handle the amount of pressure I am applying on my casting. Rod is a Daiwa brand and the spec is Saltist Ellite - grinder setup 7 ounce to 9 ounce Reel brand is Daiwa - BG6500 It is packed with 680m of 50lb braid and 10 meters of 180lb braid as my leader. Hope this info helps. Thank you greatly for your support. All the best.
Hi there Cobus, I have just posted a video on how I slide on braid check it out. There is more information that we need to learn about when we on slide braid, we must explore more. I have had some challenges along the road so far and for the past +- 20 baits, it has been going good.
Great vid , just one request wen u see the guys keeping fish if u able to request them to kill the fish fast as possible. poke thru the brain and break the spine wen keeping the fish . Less suffering
Yes I did. I have 50lb JDB and 180lb leader braid. I used a non return slide, I slide on braid only on certain conditions and I can't rush the process, otherwise you going to end up with a big mess. Most of time we use our throw bait using a dingle dangle
Over the years I've watched sum fisherman on the Durban beachfront pier's putting on an act in crowds to draw attention whilst standing on hand and guard rails to reel in fish...and believe me there were tyms it didn't end healthy bru..
