So nice to have a couple like yourselves review this beautiful ship and experience. The perspective you share IMO is far more valuable than by those not accustomed to this type of environment or sophistication. We'll be on a full Panama Canal transit in January, 2026 and cannot wait.

So glad you got to Setti Marie this time. Pretty nice for a non-speciality restaurant I always thought. Coffee Connection-the best. Can’t recall if you have gone to one of their afternoon teas. Something very tiny and unimportant that I wondered about is that Chartreuse always served a glass of champagne right at seating with a raspberry or strawberry floating -totally not ordered but a lovely start. I don’t see that in the video. Possibly you declined. Just wondering.

@@theposhtravelblog I enjoy a nice malt . my research over the years led to me leaving main stream brands such as glenfiddich and glenlivet. IMHO please try : Deanston or isle of Arran. drop of water leave for 15 minutes. You will not be dissapointed. Regards John.

@@theposhtravelblog I sampled over 30 different malt whiskies. I was a commited Glenfiddich fan , then moved to Glenlivet. I found Deanston and it blew my socks off at the price range. Its non chilled filtered ,so the oils from the wood are still present plus no added colouring or caramel flavouring. DEANSTON is in my opinon a sleeping giant.
Funny because I drank Glenfiddich and moved to Glenlivet so will definitely try your whiskey!🥃 Sounds great. Sleeping Giant? Maybe we should buy some shares…? 😂🎉🥃
We really enjoy your reviews. We have also cruised a lot. Our cruises were always on the budget cruise lines. Do you feel that the lines you travel on are worth the extra money?
Thanks for watching. The luxury lines do offer that extra luxurious touch, and although Regent is expensive it does include excursions, which we have enjoyed in the past, laundry, drinks, gratuities, and some of the finest dining at sea. It’s a very special experience, and also the other cruises in the sector are equally as lovely Seabourn, Crystal, Silversea, Explora Journeys etc. Regent wins for us though as the restaurants are just so amazing. 🤗🥂

We love your videos and we’re emarking on our first of two Regent seven seas cruises at Christmas in Australia New Zealand, followed by the Mediterranean in May and we are really looking forward to all the experiences that you’ve shared with us.
One question… Four glasses of champagne for lunch…did you need to wash down the nachos?
@@nickmccaffrey4168 😂you’re the second person to ask that!! They brought over Prosecco instead of Champagne and Christina’s Champagne radar was working and she noticed! 😂 I don’t think I would have known… Have a great time, Regent is amazing - Part 3 (the finale) out soon!
Thank you again for an amazing review. We had our very first cruise this year with Seaborne and on the basis of that we have booked with seaborne pursuit through the French Polynesia. Have you been on the ship and if so how does it compare to seven seas ? Richard ..

Yes there was rather a lot of food! 😂 We booked this last minute but I wasn’t reduced as the cruise was on waitlist as so popular..

Thank you ❤️ We have a video on the drinks which highlights that you need to ask for the wine list rather than just accept what’s being offered. You can also ask for a litre of spirits each in your suite….Book your excursions early and your restaurant reservations, if you don’t get your first choice don’t panic as you can try onboard, there are usually cancellations. Have a great time! ❤️
Why did you wait until day of the excursion and hope for a spot instead of booking in advance? Also the same question applies to reservations to the restaurants.
We only booked the cruise 2 days prior to departure and the reservations closed online 7 days before. It was no problem though we managed to get everything we wanted 🤗
Looks beautiful. Was wondering if you knew if the ship was running at full occupancy or not , it does seem an incredibly relaxed vibe across the whole ship. The restaurants and your suite look amazing. 😍⛴️
The ship was absolutely full, in fact we booked 3 days before and got the last cabin as it was a cancellation! Never felt crowded ❤️
