According to the constitution, it says, Otumfuo and the paramount chiefs, It means the constitution Exempt Otumfuo from the paramount chiefs During the British colonial era, Ashantis fought the Britsh, they were not colonised but the rest of Ghanaians were colonised by British, later Dr Nkrumah pleaded Otumfuo Agyemang Prempeh to join Ghana.

What you guys are not getting is, our current Chieftancy setup is just like ceremonial, even within Asante Region, no Chief pays anything to Otumfour neither do they fetch water or give gold to Otumfour. You the Bono people are making this issue complicated and conflicting and creating unnecessary tension between Bono and Asante. For instance, if even Kumawu in Asante wants to join Dagbon, they can do that without Asantehene stopping them.

Otumfuo is not a paramount chief, get that into your head. According to the constitution, it says, Otumfuo and the paramount chiefs, It means the constitution Exempt Otumfuo from the paramount chiefs

Dormaahene has an agenda to also be called BONOHENE to be able to come at par with Otumfour. This is the real deal and only few people know this.
