Mit MagLoop am Barbara Kreuz ✝️

Hier mein heutiger Funkausflug, diesmal ging es mit meiner (übers Knie rund gebogenen) MagLoop zum Barbarakreuz nach Prottes. Bei sonnigen 11 Grad war meine Loop am Stativ schnell aufgebaut, mit der Funkfernsteuerung auf unseren Gateway-Kanal (FM35) abgestimmt (SWR 1,03) und mit der schmalen Seite Richtung Wien ausgerichtet. Nach anfänglicher "Funkstille" (dachte schon meine Endstufe sei kaputt 🥴) wurde es dann doch noch ein toller Funknachmittag, mit erstaunlichen Ergebnissen und Reichweiten 🙂

Höhepunkte der heutigen Funk-Session waren die T2LT von Blauwal, seine MiniFed von DX-Power (im Vergleich 1 S-Stufe mehr RX+TX als seine an sich auch recht gute T2LT), die 80km zur Station Schwarzmann nach Mattersburg (mit S9/R5) und die ebenfalls 80km zur Station "Andi" auf der "Hohen Wand" mit seinem Handfunkfernsprechgerät "Alan 42 DS" 👍 ... aber seht selbst 🙂
Mein Dank ergeht wie immer an all die tollen, netten Gegenstationen ohne die unser Hobby nicht möglich wäre 👍 (und natürlich auch an sämtliche heimliche Schwarzhörer, Trägersetzer, Papageien und Musikeinspieler im Hintergrund, welche zumindest für Umsatz sorgen, bei den Funkfachhändlern, durch den Kauf ihrer CB-, Abhör- und Effekt-Geräte 😉)

Here's my radio excursion today, this time with my MagLoop (bent round over my knee) to the Barbarakreuz in Prottes. In sunny 11 degree weather, my loop was quickly set up on the tripod, tuned to our gateway channel (FM35) with the radio remote control (SWR 1.03) and pointed with the narrow side towards Vienna. After some initial “radio silence” (I thought my power amplifier was broken 🥴), it turned out to be a great afternoon of radio transmission with amazing results and ranges 🙂
Highlights of today's radio session were Blauwal's T2LT, his MiniFed from DX-Power (in comparison 1 S-stage more RX+TX than his T2LT, which is also quite good in itself), the 80km to the Schwarzmann station in Mattersburg (with S9/R5) and the 80km to the “Andi” station on the “Hohe Wand” with his handheld radio “Alan 42 DS” 👍 ... but see for yourself 🙂
As always, my thanks go to all the great, nice remote stations without whom our hobby would not be possible 👍 (and of course also to all the secret black listeners, carrier setters, parrots and music players in the background, who at least ensure sales at the radio dealers by buying their CB, listening and effect devices 😉)
