  • An overview of the past and present of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This episode goes over what the resort currently has as well as a detailed history of what it used to offer. Such as a wave machine on the beach and restaurants that no longer exist. It also extensively covers the restaurants, shops, all of the various room and amenities now available. All outlined in a fun and creative way. More of an experience, let's say. It's made to be informative and enjoyful.
A full list of copyrights and credit can be found in the comment section listed by Disfarers. I would have put it here but it contains too many characters.
However, a huge thanks to the amazing creative commons youTube content creator,

This was an amazing video! I loved the information about the modular construction. That's fascinating info I'd never heard of. Every time I go to Magic Kingdom I book dinner reservations at Kona Cafe, which I like the food at better than Ohana. A couple nights actually staying at the Polynesian (ideally the Bungalows) is my Disney bucket list dream...I need a job to give me a big signing bonus... Anyway, I would love to see you cover every hotel in this much detail!

It's on my list of upcoming episodes, but unfortunately not this year. AKL is one of my absolute favorites and is a large project. Also, some of the resort episodes before it sort of lay the groundwork as to how AKL was constructed, so researching those other resorts first will make the AKL episode all the better. It's so great to hear you're interested though. Really, all of the resorts are fascinating. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Wow! This is the best and most comprehensive Poly video I have found! A few years ago I flew in for a weekend and stayed in the Ambassador suite! It was my favorite memory out of all my trips. We were so pressed for time (trying to do 4 parks and 3 days) that we ONLY ate at Captain Cooks and Pineapple Lanai, but missed out on the other restaurants. Planning a Dec. trip and looking forward to trying Kona, Tambu, and Trader Sams. O'hana remains undecided. I have two picky eaters and the menu seems limited. This is the first video I found that mentioned the room service option. I think I will plan on that for 4 of us and the other two can eat Chicken Fingers from Captain Cook's in the room. We loved the location in Tonga and are also considering just doing adjoining rooms in Hawaii since it is closer to the club offerings and to the direct monorail to Epcot. Decisions!!!! Thank you so much. I subscribed to your channel because this video was so good.

I saw pictures of the fun hut arcade during research, but couldn't scrounge up enough details to add anything worthwhile to the episode. I recall being at the resort during the years it was there but it's like my memory just erased it. I believe it's entrance was between where Captain Cook's and Trader Sam's Grog Grotto currently resides.
Oh and Thank you so much for watching!!!

@@disfarers I’m a video creator as well and my wife and I just started a RUclips channel about camping and we love traveling. Your commentary makes it! Great clear editing and story telling. As a creator like yourself, sometimes we get good comments from people and family I always feel like your just being kind. But when another creator tells you the same thing it reassures you. I know how many 100’s of hours projects like this can take, so creator to creator you do a awesome job!
We are always YouTubing travel stuff particularly Disney stuff. My favorite content you make for example is The Tower of Terror video. That video is how I found you first. I saw other videos on how the ride works etc, but your version was the best. We started watching behind the attraction on disney plus so I started looking on RUclips for like content then I found your video. Honestly as I’m watching that I think am I watching Disney Plus, behind the attraction here… I like all your stuff but if I were to say behind ride attraction type content would be my favorite. I like all your content and watch till the end but my favorites would be ride videos.
To answer, Disney world would be my preference. I still would watch anything about Disneyland we are just closer to Disney world and thats where we would travel.

Wow that's such high praise to come from another content creator!!! I'm going to check out your videos later tonight. So cool! I'm glad you like the attraction episodes. Honestly, I lose subscribers the first week every time I put out a resort or some other type of episode because people that like the attraction episodes get frustrated. But I sort of can't help myself. I make videos about the the things that interest me at the time I'm writing/researching. I also can't tell if my subs enjoy Disneyland or the Disney World based on the analytics I'm given. It's just tough balancing what subscribers seem to want and where my fickle interests lead me. In the end I just try to put my all into each episode. And hey, they're fun to make. Okay, I'm rambling so I'm going to stop here. I can't wait to watch your vids! You've got another subscriber here!

@@disfarers Hey thanks! Welcome aboard! Gaining subs is tough! We just launched this past December.
Wow I can’t believe people would unsubscribe like that. I would hope that won’t happen to us, right now at least, because if we lose one that’s a huge percentage for us. What’s wild with that is your content is related to each other and good. I could see if it was something outside of Disney.
I’m figuring out now what folks in my genre like. I have a bunch of videos lined up for the next 2 months of Thursdays that I made from all our trips from 2023. Then after that I’ll analyze what worked and what didn’t and go from there for the 2024 trips. In my genre I find I'm get better response from the campground reviews and less from the how-to videos I dabbled with. I also did a rough quick edited video of “A Day at Dollywood” video that surprised me got a ton of views and I thought no one would like it. Sorry for my rambling too.
I love making videos! I love having RUclips as an outlet to be able to have an audience.

You have a solid plan for the next two months. And I checked out several of your episodes and got a camping-friend of mine to check out a couple as well. Hopefully, they subbed as well. You're camera-work is so great! What kind of a camera do you use? Some of those shots are just surreal. I try to use a much of my own footage as possible but I'm still learning the ins and outs with lighting. Also, your voice is really amazing for what you do. In your earlier episodes I literally said out loud, "man, his voice is great, but he needs to loosen up and sound as interested as he obviously is in what he's talking about." And then, in your more recent episodes, you're obviously looser and inflecting your interest into your words. Such a great job. Your editing and music and even the image fonts and placement, it's all there. You just need time to grow and youtube to gradually push you. Really, you've got something great there. I'll be watching your uploads.
My only criticism is that I feel you should cast a wider net. If I were in your position I would do more research and present whatever your covering to those too far away to visit Florida. My bet would be that your beach shots to campers out in the midWest would love to see what you have to offer. Just one guy's suggestion. I don't think you need any advise though. Again, for only a few months in, your content is really strong. You just need practice working out your kinks and niches and finding what you're comfortable with. Please don't stop.
