Another important aspect for a good car is stability. You don't want to be hitting walls and flipping like a pancake. I wanna add Audi Quattro to the list, super easy to handle, great speed, very stable and *5* boost slots
Winning Formula, normal Twin Mill maxed out, Tur-bone Charged, Racket Fire maxed out, Formula Flashback maxed out, K.I.T.T. maxed out, Bone Shaker Unleashed maxed out, Super Treasure hunt Dragon Blaster are the only other cars worth mentioning for best cars to get to use or to try and make into legendary cars to dominate the competition. The two Audi cars might be good as well for more of a balance point of view. Then if you have some homemade courses that are not flush with the ground you need to list some like the Ram 1500 Rebel, Off-Duty, Humvee and the 2 dune buggy like cars since they can climb onto tracks that are a wee bit off the ground.
The RD-02 has a slightly higher top speed, but it also has really impressive accelarattion. The issue with the handling is largely because one tends to hit the sharper turns at too high a rate of speed, because even after the boost has shut off, the car has not slowed to normal max speed yet, which itself is on the high side for sharp turns: you either have to brake well in advance of such turns and drift in tight to the apex to mainain the drift; or forego the boost on the preceeding stretch, head in toward the apex and slam the wheel at speed so your rear end swings way out, and as soon as you bounce your back end off the wall, boost out of the turn. I see really skilled people doing tight drifts with this car but my bounce and boost method works ...almost as good. :)
I found out yesterday that Super Treasure Hunt cars can appear in the shop limited offers. The shop displays the offers in order of price, but if you happen to see a 500 coins car in the end of the list is because that car is a STH, I got a STH Twin Mill yesterday. If you want to be sure you can always hit "preview" on each car in the shop, usually the STH cars have a different set of wheels than the regular version. Also, this is not the most fun thing in the world to do, but if someone's having a bad time with blind boxes or even the limited store you can you use a save file exploit to reset your coins/boxes and try again, it can even be used to change the rotation of the limited store. Like I said, it's not fun, but considering how low the coin earning in the races are and how much of a grind it is to get the whole collection you might wanna try this. I awlays save money for around 5 boxes and then I start using the save exploit method, I don't save money for more boxes because it would be kinda sad to open like 20 boxes to get a car I really really want in the 19th box, you know... Anyway, I hope these tips help you guys.

@@kriskater online racing, especially the drag strip courses that are so common, since the coin rewards are fixed, it doesnt matter if a race takes half an hour or half a second, you get the same amount of coins at the end regardless, of course, better positions give more coins, but thats it, really
Finally getting Hot Wheels Unleashed today. I still haven't looked at the complete list of cars yet, even tho I've watched heaps of gameplay videos. Awesome video to see which cars to aim for and how they handle
I think the Rocketfire upgraded to legendary deserves a shot here. 3 boosts at max upgrades, max handling and really good braking power make it quite easy to drive but also very competitive in online, especially on the tighter tracks. Only downside really is it only has 5 speed, but with 3 boosts that’s pretty good (unless if you’re the street wiener)
The Roger Dodger was a car I had as a kid and am desperately hoping to get hold of one of the STH versions to paint up into a version like the one I had when I was a little punk. Still love that casting and really want a competitive version
The fact that the limited offers timer only runs when you’re in game is really dumb imo. The last round of cars that came up are all ones I don’t want/already have, and having to either play for 3 more hours and a bit or leave my console idle for that long in order to see a new set is stupid. Just have it run in real time! Logging in after a few days and seeing the same list and a 3h + timer is disheartening. I would be logging on every day if I knew there would be a fresh list of cars to potentially grab.
I would like to know what are the worst cars to upgrade, and which are good to upgrade. I've almost finished with much of the city rumble and still haven't upraded anything as I heard that some cars are worse upgraded.

I've been lucky, and I've gotten both the treasure hunt Street Creeper, and the treasure hunt Twin Mill from blind boxes. My go to has been the Street Creeper ever since. It has max speed, the handling is good, and it has 3 boosts.
My 1st STH car was the Street Creeper, and that beast is the car that got me to 100% City Rumble, it's just so easy and predictable, and it can be fast as hell when you get used to it
The handling for STH Street Creeper seems way better than three bars would indicate, but the speed doesn't quite seem six bars either imo. Three bossts is a big plus anyway. I am lucky to have the entire collection to play around with, so I'm basing that on lap times againt all the other strong perforemers. I agree its better than the STH twinmill in spite of the Twinmill's flex boost.

Fun fact: the SUPER TREASURE HUNT version of BUMP around is fantastic. I call it "flight bird". I know it looks worse than the dragon blaster from the super treasure hunt series, but it's MAX BOOST and max acceleration makes it very good at flying, even better than the power rocket. In any custom map with no checkpoints you can practically fly to the end if you see it. Have done so before lads.

Buns of Steel is honestly the worst car ive ever been forced to drive in the game... took everything just to podium then go back and get first place with a better car.
I personally love using the Power Rocket but only on certain tracks. Tracks made by creators with long straightaways and oval shaped tracks is where this car shines. It’s best to let your boost build until the final lap and then you can slingshot past everyone! They won’t even see you coming!

Super Treasure Hunt or not, the Rodger Dodger is a surprisingly good car. I didn't like it at first because it felt a little bit too wobbly for me. That was until I upgraded my common Rodger Dodger to Legendary status and mastered the car's movement. I went from being indifferent about it to absolutely loving it. Sure, neither one is good at time attacks, but they can hold their own in quick races and online lobbies. Also, does anyone remember the "Steam Punk" livery that was shown off in the announcement trailer? Yeah, I re-created it.
Is the Twin Mill™ 2021 good for online races? I mean it has great stats and a boost bar and the drifting in this car feels great! Please let me know if its actually a great idea using it in online races
I use the common Rodger Dodger, wich I upgraded to legendary. I have won a lot of races with it, it mostly depends on your ability driving. I have beated up cars like the ones you mentioned in the video with the Rodger, now I'm after the super treasure hunt version.

Honestly Formula fast back upgraded to rare has been my go to car. It’s fast and controls super easy in the corner and what it lacks in straight line speed it more then makes up for with 4 bars of a boost very rarely are there tracks with straights that require more then 2 bars to 3 bars of a boost and Because it’s easy to control in the corners you build it up quick and use it in the straights rise repeat podium if people don’t track hop
The Jesco and 24 Ours have the exact same stats on Legendary. Are there more hidden mechanics that change the way cars drive other than what we can see?
The Formula Flashback is godly for tight tracks. So far, best handling and most stable car I've driven. Also, it's only common so that makes it easy to find. Imo best car right now.
I just started to hate people that use the Koenigsegg! It's just the epitome of tryhard in this game, sooo easy and fast to drive almost feels like it's cheating. Plus, you play a HW to drive a real car??! C'mon guys!
Imagine judging people for liking a car that drives nicely and looks nice. There are other cars that can do just as well, getting salty cause people can use a certain car on most tracks and perform better then you just means you got to work on it.
Motosaurus for me is the best in legendary ,this car have a better boots power of other cars,test it i do a 32 sec on this time attack : crossroads on few run , in multiplayer u can see a the start u first or u pushing people ,drift & boots dependent ,u need boots when u dritf at 65% of u turn, no when u straight , with very good braking power and u can do some crazy comeback ++
It's crazy, I was thinking about power rocket. I don't know if they fixed but fun fact you can do a glitch in single player with power rocket to get 6 boost at the beginning of the race
From ps plus free games I have this. And day 1 got jesko lol. I'm killing all races in rumble 😍😍. It's faster than veilco racer. I also got kitt which is cool from limited box! I see 24 ours in the shop 1200 coins. Also got skull crusher which has 3 boost
The bat mobile is an all around good car if you get lucky. I got super lucky and got the STH twin mill (my favorite) after opening a few crates from the boss battles
The Tur bone charged car is one I use and it may not be the fastest thing but it really is an amazing handling car and in my opinion the best car I have out of all the cars I do have I'd recommend giving it a try but to get the full effect you do need to upgrade it to legendary
Am I crazy? How did you not mention the twin mill? Idk if it's just one but the Mobil 1 version it's literally almost maxed out just missing 1 bar of handling and 2 braking....that's it! Also I like the bar boosts which this has way more then the nodes some cars have
I typically practice for Time Attacks with the DeLorean, since it's very forgiving with it's boost bar. Then I'll transfer my experience over to my RD 02 car. Practice slow, finish fast.
The rd 02 doesn't get a turbo bar it gets a single pip when fully legendary. The 24 ours and jesko get 2 pips. I personally use the STH twin mill since it's got the turbo bar and I just live the look of it

The "Nightshifter" is a really good car. It comes as legendary and has every stat almost maxed out. Never seen anyone with it. I bought it for 2000 coins when it was available in the item shop.
The first car i got on the shop was the Twin Mill super treasure hunt for 500 coins, i only realized how lucky i was after returning over and over only to see the same crap. Gotta watch out for barrel rolls in the corners tho..
The last few near the top of the map need to find shortcuts in order to beat. Some of the shortcuts are hard to do but the 6-7 seconds they shave are absolutely essential. There's even a track that has a super easy shortcut that cuts about 20 seconds off your lap time.
I had the wiener racer and accidentally sold it because I was just barely pressing down the L2 button on the PS5 controller and didn't notice fast enough.
Im hoping to see other racing circuits with planes and motocross related hotwheels. Also some of my predictions/cars i would like to see in the game are the ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, the splitwire from BF5, and i think a tardis themed hotwheel would be an interesting pick imo.
They need to add a update where the online lobbies are filled with custom maps because like it seems almost like official races which is fine but I see the same maps every time and I only played 5 times online
Yeah they need to really improve the sharing feature and implement a ranking system where people can give custom tracks a thumbs up or something so its more likely to appear online.
Yeah fully upgraded, I've heard people don't bother upgrading BTB mainly because it losses the boosts. However it in City Rumble it drops as Legendary.
I got pretty lucky and got a super treasure hunt car bu it's just uncrontolabble you have a high chance of rolling over and it happens often. But it's extremely fast. It looks like a dragon I don't remember the name
I like the Mini Cooper S a lot. It has balanced stats and 4 boosts, plus it looks like the acceleracers Chicane car. Also about the Chicane skin, it was for the Cooper not the Fiat. Me dum.

Exotique and KITT are also very competitive in online lobbies... Plus the Total Disposal has hilariously OP boost!

One of my mains is the Bone Shaker (which can be unlocked after completing the final boss race). It’s very stable and fast with 2 boosts.

I haven't played alk that many cars, but my favorites do far are the 24 Ours and the Superman Car, both on Legendary.

Spend a dollar and get the Mclaren. All stats maxed out except breaking has 1 fewer slot and it has 3 boosters.

Driving the legendary Mini Cooper. The time machine and bug are really good aswell. But the mini has my heart
I used the Mini a lot in the first couple of day ut for me it wasn't quick enough.

I like bifocal II. It only has 3/6 speed but max everything else so it’s good for really twisty tracks.
Motosaurus for me is the best in legendary ,this car have a better boots power of other cars,test it i do a 32 sec on this time attack : crossroads on few run , in multiplayer u can see a the start u first or u pushing people ,drift & boots dependent ,u need boots when u dritf at 65% of u turn, no when u straight , with very good braking power and u can do some crazy comeback ++

Yeah this list was put together before a lot of the dlc cars can out so there are 100% some better cars now. I believe the P1 is the best car now.

Nah the exact same stats don't mean they are the exact same.
It's crazy, I was thinking about power rocket. I don't know if they fixed but fun fact you can do a glitch in single player with power rocket to get 6 boost at the beginning of the race
I use Street Wiener on Time Attacks it's awesome! I got it from a Blind Box.
What do u think about legendary road runner?
Two cars I would say are good are the Rip Rod and K.I.T.T. both have 3 boosts and very good stats all around.
From ps plus free games I have this. And day 1 got jesko lol. I'm killing all races in rumble 😍😍. It's faster than veilco racer. I also got kitt which is cool from limited box! I see 24 ours in the shop 1200 coins. Also got skull crusher which has 3 boost
The bat mobile is an all around good car if you get lucky. I got super lucky and got the STH twin mill (my favorite) after opening a few crates from the boss battles
The Tur bone charged car is one I use and it may not be the fastest thing but it really is an amazing handling car and in my opinion the best car I have out of all the cars I do have I'd recommend giving it a try but to get the full effect you do need to upgrade it to legendary
So far, my favorite is the snoopy, mainly because I got it as my 3rd car. Still need to collect the others though.

How do you get the treasure Hunt for the common cars I’m confused.
Get lucky from boxes or see if the bottom item in the shop is a Treasure Hunt, it will have rubber tires.
I got the koenigsegg jekso from my first blind box. So lucky.
Am I crazy? How did you not mention the twin mill? Idk if it's just one but the Mobil 1 version it's literally almost maxed out just missing 1 bar of handling and 2 braking....that's it! Also I like the bar boosts which this has way more then the nodes some cars have
The Mobil 1 version was added later in the game
I typically practice for Time Attacks with the DeLorean, since it's very forgiving with it's boost bar. Then I'll transfer my experience over to my RD 02 car. Practice slow, finish fast.
The rd 02 doesn't get a turbo bar it gets a single pip when fully legendary. The 24 ours and jesko get 2 pips. I personally use the STH twin mill since it's got the turbo bar and I just live the look of it
@@GingerBeardMan977 That's fair. I've still yet to finish the campaign, so I don't have a lot of great cars. My best ones are the Custom Beetle, DeLorean, RD 02, and Dodge Daytona.
The "Nightshifter" is a really good car. It comes as legendary and has every stat almost maxed out. Never seen anyone with it. I bought it for 2000 coins when it was available in the item shop.

The first car i got on the shop was the Twin Mill super treasure hunt for 500 coins, i only realized how lucky i was after returning over and over only to see the same crap. Gotta watch out for barrel rolls in the corners tho..
The STH Dragon Blaster is a Power Rocket on steroids. I never fail to win when i use that car
The BMW M3 GTS fully upgraded is really fast and handles extremely well

What’s good tier for twin mill ? Rare or legendary ?
I only use the exotique because it's sexy and I completed all the time attacks with it
I like using the legendary formula flashback
I use the bubble car it has perfect stats basically and won a lot of races. But I’m still missing out on time attacks. I only have a few left.
The last few near the top of the map need to find shortcuts in order to beat. Some of the shortcuts are hard to do but the 6-7 seconds they shave are absolutely essential.
There's even a track that has a super easy shortcut that cuts about 20 seconds off your lap time.
What about legendary rocketfire or the Batmobile?
We can do shortcuts a lot with Bazoomka.
Formula flashback full upgraded is my numbe rone car in the game the speed and handling is perfect
I had the wiener racer and accidentally sold it because I was just barely pressing down the L2 button on the PS5 controller and didn't notice fast enough.

bad to the blade is my best car so far but the upgrade is a trap. the over steer is alright when you rock 3 turbos

Im hoping to see other racing circuits with planes and motocross related hotwheels.
Also some of my predictions/cars i would like to see in the game are the ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, the splitwire from BF5, and i think a tardis themed hotwheel would be an interesting pick imo.

They need to add a update where the online lobbies are filled with custom maps because like it seems almost like official races which is fine but I see the same maps every time and I only played 5 times online
Yeah they need to really improve the sharing feature and implement a ranking system where people can give custom tracks a thumbs up or something so its more likely to appear online.

Yeah fully upgraded, I've heard people don't bother upgrading BTB mainly because it losses the boosts. However it in City Rumble it drops as Legendary.

I got pretty lucky and got a super treasure hunt car bu it's just uncrontolabble you have a high chance of rolling over and it happens often. But it's extremely fast. It looks like a dragon I don't remember the name
You know it makes sense that the RD-02 is fast, I mean. The drones were CREATED to win, winning is all there is.
Fully upgraded mcqueen senna is your best option and it's a cheap dlc car

Yeah the STH Dragon Blaster is a beast; only downside is it's a little top heavy. Fun to drive though, I like the red wings!

The Superman DLC Car is the best for me.
I like the Mini Cooper S a lot. It has balanced stats and 4 boosts, plus it looks like the acceleracers Chicane car.
Also about the Chicane skin, it was for the Cooper not the Fiat. Me dum.
Dragon Blaster and Batmobile are also good
Motosaurus while incredibly unstable has ridiculous boost and handling and can be the best car in the game in the right hands
