      I was born in the early 90’s and I have some understanding of this era. I have studied a lot about what happened back then. I became interesting in learning about it when I seen how bad it is today with the current oppression and the racism that STILL exists. I needed to go back in time to see where we came from to see why we are where we are at today.. and it is truly sad what us black people have been through for the last 4-500 years. It just never ends.. it doesn’t stop.. they won’t leave us black people alone. They infiltrate our culture and everything we create and destroy it from the inside out. It is truly disgusting. They put us in the ghettos after segregation ended and never allowed black peoples to live in nice neighborhoods. They didn’t pay black people the same as white people. They put drugs in black neighborhoods to destroy us even more. And now today, the next generations are damaged by negative music that the racist elites also infiltrated and control and don’t want any positive music out, they only want us to put out negative music. They only sign artists who fit their agenda. They do not even look in the direction of a positive artist. They destroyed everything we ever had.. but we STILL prevail! And we will prevail and get back on our feet soon.. just like how black Wall Street was destroyed, we can do it again! And currently, many blacks people have successful businesses and soon many of us will have more control as we control real estate and huge chunks of the economic world. It is a slow and steady process.. but we will get back on top soon! The ignorant ones have to wake up and the ones who already have their eyes open need to help wake up their fellow brother and we need to work together. I have faith things will get better. We just need to keep working towards this ultimate goal.

    When my nephew was being born back in the early 2000s I was in a waiting area at a Kansas City hospital and struck up a conversation with an elderly Black Man who was probably 90. He was telling me about when he was young man and the city was run by a politician named Pendergast. He talked about all the corruption and growing up back in the 30s and 40s. It was just fascinating and it really saddened me how much we lose when people like him pass away without documenting their lives.

    • @The-Logic-Wizard
      @The-Logic-Wizard Год назад

      Pendergast was more than just corrupt... he handpicked Harry Truman to be a politician out of a dare. He saw a poor grocery store bagger and said "I am so powerful I can make any idiot a senator". He promoted Truman to win his senatorship. Corruption abound. Once Truman was in Washington he fell into the vice presidency largely by luck. Then FDR died and all the sudden Truman is president, a grocery store clerk with no education was now president. Truman was then convinced by the military to drop the atomic bomb on Japanese civilians. He was not given the secret information on the nature of the bomb beforehand, since everyone knew he was an idiot they kept those details from him. He was tricked into nuclear bombing civilians by sick generals. After that he was again tricked into signing the act that formed the CIA and gave all oversight to the CIA to itself, not the president. That is why we have a runaway intelligence community who is spying and killing its own citizens. It all goes back to pendergast and Truman. The great shame of Missouri

      It seems to me that's how the majority of Black American males throughout America Love to Communicate with eachother by talking loud over the next whenever we get together to discuss some issues amongst ourselves that really do need to be addressed ! The meeting can seriously start off very Positive because the person doing most of the talking is very well Respected and everyone knows not to interrupt them while they're speaking but let it be someone else that has a plan that will work if he could just only get everyone to read the script and play their role ! Our People have been fooled into this modern way of thinking as long as someone is talking about getting a brand new car and buying some auto parts to add on to the vehicle then that person is talking about something but let that be a person talking about a plan to get more Black people to join together to do bigger and better things then they're all labeled by their peers as the ones who are usually not talking about anything period and they're not to be taken seriously !

      I enjoy his story. But no he wouldn’t. He did 20 years at 22 years old. That was in the mid to late 60’s maybe early 70’s (he didn’t specify). It’s 2023. At the shortest time that was 53 years ago. Which means he’s had at least 30 years to figure out how to leave and he hasn’t. So what does that tell you? It tells me he didn’t and does not really want to leave. It doesn’t cost much for a one way ticket to another country and if you save up a thousand dollars or a couple thousand you can go start up ahead of the locals depending on where you go based on the USD conversion rates. He couldn’t do that in 30 years? Stop it. He’s still stuck in the street life and the past. He has valid grievances with the government, no doubt, but he ain’t going anywhere. Whether he admits it or not, he knows his best chance for success is here in America because other countries, to include the many countries in Africa, aren’t going to support him with federal assistance like they do here. He’s had 30 years to get his life together, and he hasn’t. He chose to continue living the way he does.

At some point you have to acknowledge some level of accountability instead of blaming everyone else. No black ppl seem to have an answer to “how can black people rise up…” that’s very telling… Once MLK died it was over and it seems y’all have never fully recovered and have completely forgot the message he was trying to convey.
