I’d be happy if they had a 7.5-9% yeild to be honest and held a small Div appreciation over time. It’s pretty young so we’ll see. I’m heavy on SPYI at the moment
Excellent video! SPYI is one of my largest holdings, I love the high Dividends, plus a small Cap Gains. At Distributions of 12% from my rollover IRA, I just need the principle to stay level, keeps sending me cash. Important to note NEOS just launched 1/30/24 QQQI the same strategy but for the NASDAQ 100. I will add this soon to my JEPQ to diversify my risk among NASDAQ 100 covered calls. How about a video on SVOL? Great yield with fairly stable principle, perfect for retirees needing income but protecting principle.
Glad to hear its working toward your financial goals! Once QQQI has some more history to it, I will likely make a video. I have a made a video about SVOL in the past, but may be time to do an update video!
Thank you means a lot! I've had a lot of sketchy companies reach out but said no to. I wanted to make sure the product was something I thought was useful and legit.
JEPY & QQQY are on my Watch List but so far both have lost principle/NAV likely due to the excessive yield payout percent. JEPY & QQQY are not making enough to cover the very high payouts, this is not sustainable.
Thanks for stopping by! I like the track record of JEPQ so far, but I agree I have yet to see the sustainability of JEPY and QQQY under their current strategy.
Im learning more about dividends investing and I wonder why I'm just hearing about spyi. Seems like most RUclips content is geared towards schd or jepi/jepq lately
I'm interested in buying but had a quick question. SPYI is a covered call option. I like being a passive investor and letting the fund work for itself, while still making me $$. Do I need to actively trade/buy/sell this ETF to make money, or do the fund managers do all the work for me??
I like SPYI, but BALI is looking like the better fund. Same general strategy, but better total return since inception and a lower expense ratio. Also a BlackRock fund, so coming from one of the largest institutions in the game. I like BALI much more than JEPI. Will be interesting to see what NEOS does with QQQI. There are two new Goldman Sachs funds following a similar strategy as well. We’ll see how they all perform as the year rolls on. So far, BALI is way ahead.
I’ll have to take a closer look at it, I know Blackrock is notorious for somehow getting more tax efficient distributions. Yea I made videos on the Goldman Sachs ones already I’ll have to start on this BALI one!

would you dump a million in spyi?
I wish I had a million to dump into SPYI but I like being as diversified as possible@@KingPriyom
so if it's safe, you wanna diversify out of earning over 100k/yr doing nothing? when you do have that million that is ;)@@citizenoftheyearCC
Thanks for the update! Congrats on getting a sponsor! 🥳

Love it! Also have JEPY and JEPQ.

FYI … NEOS is the trader for the new KURV funds, which should also preserve share price.
Good catch they are- they may be on the channel soon, keep any eye out ;)
How is the fund expense 0.68 handled? I’m not familiar with these. Is it factored into the yield or charged to your account monthly?
They take a portion right off the top when you invest, so some of that money goes toward their expenses instead of the actual investment.
That’s what I want to know.
@@patstar5 Now you know!

It is a newer fund, I say with a more proven track record you will see more videos come out.

My brother that expense ratio we pay means the fund manager does all the work for us!
