These guys are from my area, awesome to see you teaching one of their songs, they’re a great bunch of guys. Crazy how far they have come in the last couple years.
Brother I didn't plan a guitar since about 1981 small town in Cleveland Virginia which is in Russell County back and forth from Russell County to St Lucie County Florida my whole life and I played a lot of style of music I have got a shitload of guitars for a not professional guitar player everything from early model Yamahas early model d28s d35s d45s got a lot of Amish made guitars with no names on them which are just like Martins recently now at the age of 53 I bought a Zagar 900 full body easy play guitar which has a lot of Martin Parts in it legally it's basically a d45 but you only spend 3 Grand for it I attempted to play Russell County Line before watching your video I know all about the drop deep I heard that before I even touched my guitar to play the song but watching your video three or four times and paying close attention you made it very very easy for me thank you my friend thank you very much that's the song really means a lot to me have a wonderful year thank you again
Tim, I appreciate all the work you put into this channel. You are the only tutorial account I've continuously stuck with. You've basically taught me how to play guitar! Big thanks! I'd like to request happy reunion by colter wall if possible, cheers!
Amazing song and I'm so happy someone else appreciates it ❤😊 I don't know exactly what the magic is, but the beautiful simplicity of that song brings me to tears every stinking time. Wish all life was that gorgeous.
Hey Sebastian! Sorry it has taken so long to respond... I've had a busy several weeks. Thanks so much for the comment/superthanks. I've not learned that song, but I'll try to dedicate some time to figuring it out once things settle down for me a bit.
Hey there Tim! I had a question about your Man of Constant Sorrow lesson and didn't know how else to reach you. If you see this and could get back to me I would greatly appreciate it, thank you!
Hey Tim, been following along for a while now. Is there any chance you can teach a lesson on Campfire Waltz by Dave Stamey? I think Ive got it but there are some parts I cant get down quite right. Thanks!
Hey Tim love your channel, not sure if you do any requests at all, but I would really appreciate if you would consider doing any muscadine blood line songs. I’m having a tough time figuring them out. Me on you, Dying for a living, dead on arrival, Shut your mouth. Any of these would be awesome!
Tim, another stellar lesson. There is an up-and-coming reggae band called The Elovaters and they have a song called ‘Gimme Love’ with a neat fingerpicked guitar intro. You should check it out. A different genre than you usually do tutorials on 🤘🏻
hey Tim, I’ve learned pretty much all the songs I know from your channel, just wanted to say thanks. Also I’ve been really wanting to learn Silver Run by Cole Chaney, if u could help me out with that, that would be greatly appreciated
as always good stuff. if you ever have the time you should check out elliott smith's "true love." if you figure it out i wouldn't mind throwing you some $ via patreon just for that bad boy. lol. considering my style and my genre of music folks always ask about elliott smith covers. tho most i play for (outside of savannah) wouldnt listen or like his voice so it's always nice to give one of his songs a twang and watch others enjoy it. no biggie if not no biggie obviously. have a good one, brethren.
Tim!! You alright man ain’t posted new songs in awhile! If you’re lookin for songs to show us how to play some Charles Wesley Godwin would be nice or some Wyatt Flores!
Hey Tim I love learning from your bluegrass lessons and all your amazing lessons, recently I’ve been starting to shift genres into more folksy stuff like caamp and was wondering if you could teach the song sinking ship by back seat lovers. ruclips.net/video/AP70aKUmcpE/видео.html here’s a video of the lead singer and guitarist playing it acoustic. I’ve got most of it minus the little riff he does about halfway through and would love to see your breakdown. Also another great finger picking song I started trying to transpose is a prima vista by Carla rego. I think you’d enjoy the guitar work
Tim I feel like you’re reading my mind at this point with the lessons I’m looking for. Awesome lesson per usual, thanks for what you do!
Thanks Braden!
