Several things: 1. Kratos as a demigod is still a mortal, he just has abilities that most lack. 2. Ares showing emotion is consistent with actual Greek Myth as all of the gods are shown to be emotional. Except Zeus. 3. Ares is wrecking the city on a technicality. He is technically not waging war on Athena but on her city. 4. Didn't Kratos continually say "The Visions will stop?" With Athena answering him that "Your sins will be forgiven". I can see how Kratos was deceived by this: she answered his question with a statement not related to it but sounded like an answer. Athena is a dick to Kratos. 5. Your sin about Ichor didn't make any sense, as the whole reason the journey to Pandora's temple happened was to get the power to permanently kill a god. That would mean nothing if he could just revive. 6. Ares lacking foresight is something continuously demonstrated in Greek Myth, I mean, he sleeps with the wife of the guy that makes his weapons and armor. 7. Ares mocking Athena's use of Kratos is okay because being a hypocrite is about what I expect from him.
OmegaBlackHeart Aphrodite in many versions is no child of Zeus. In some myths it is non-specific, but a common one is that she was born from Kronos' blood touching a certain body of water creating Aphrodite. So not his sister, technically his aunt if you are saying they are related.
In terms of the boat captain, it's implied that he only just died. Think about it, starving to death in the belly of a dead hydra. That's gotta be a slow, agonizing way to die. So it's not too outrageous for the boat captain to have just died and fell into Hades.

He literally stood there and allowed him to take back the box when all he had to do was pick it back up and then just step on kratos like an ant, lol!

3:11 Tack on another two sins, one for gaining the power of "the greatest of the gods" to just be a projectile attack that we'll only use on long range flyers is kinda weak. The second, inconsistent Character design not just for Zeus but for the other gods that reappear in later games. Yeah I know this was probably a Kingdom Hearts "meant to be only one game but was so successful we had to turn it into a franchise" kind of deal but still, consistency is one of my biggest gripes. Sin 61 shouldn't be a sin if you knew anything about Greek myths. Yes, Zeus & Co. were gods, but Greek myths actually paint them with all the flaws that humans have: jealousy, lust, spite etc.. Despite being divine, they're all actually quite human in their shortcomings.
So much better than the other "Everything wrong with God of War" that can basically be summoned up with a guy that continuously bring up the """"inconsistencies""" between the actual Greek mythology and the game that got INSPIRED on it and made ADAPTATIONS;because obviously,we want more things completely equal to that of the old Myths and not something new. And, with what kratos interpreting what athena mentioned, well, honestly, she probably did say something that kratos misinterpreted as a answer to what he asked and thought that his nightmares would be expelled from his memory when athena said that his sins would be forgiven. Also, I forget her name, but, the god that we come around to when we're to get the medusa upgrade, she (the god) basically does a 180 and tells us after we (the player) that we have to freeze and destroy some minators after we RIP medusa's head off to gain the ability to use the head. Regarding seeing the boat captain in the underworld, don't forget that it was roughly 3 weeks or so in game time that we saw him last when most people would have perished withing a week or 2 without food or water if the fall didn't kill him, or the stomach acid.
The only real wrong thing about it is that Kratos is a fucking hipocrite. Lets himself get tricked into killing his family, then wants to kills ares for that. Even says that he has no quarrells with others, but then finds a way to convince himself that all have to die, and when that was over he went on to kill more gods, and then more. Don't get me wrong. I love the God of war games, but Since the second game the game had no real point anymore. They just glued reasons together on why he should destroy even more. Even though characters like ZEus are dicks. You as kratos are an even bigger one. Kratos was not in the right anymore since the end of part one. From there on out he just told himself that he is in the right and that everyone deserves this shit. Btw. If he would be so devastated from the loss of his wife and family, then he would not fuck everything and everyone just for ORBS xD.
Warsrecker I just think he gets a kick out of being a hypocritical serial killer. He knows what he did was wrong, but he just justifies it & blames everyone except himself. What I don't get is why do people like Ares, Zues. & Athena create monsters like Kratos that inevitably grow out of their control thinking he'll just forever do their bidding? Makes me wonder who's really dumber: The gods or Kratos?
Pretty much :) And why do gods think that way? Cause they are fucking gods. The term god complex is named that way for a reason :P For them there wasn't the possibilty of losing control, or being beaten by a mere human.....and even when he became the god of war they percieved his existence as a challenge, not a threat.

The thing where Ares threw a pillar through Kratos is only believable because he’s the freaking God of War.

If he can do that, why not do it during the final fight?
The problem is that given the speed, Kratos should have been able to react fast enough to dodge it
@@jasperthompson9759 i dont know man, if I saw a fucking pillar flying at my chest. I would just stare at it in confusion

The whole game, that is.-
Don't get me wrong.
Warsrecker
I just think he gets a kick out of being a hypocritical serial killer.
Pretty much :)
And why do gods think that way? Cause they are fucking gods. The term god complex is named that way for a reason :P
For them there wasn't the possibilty of losing control, or being beaten by a mere human.....and even when he became the god of war they percieved his existence as a challenge, not a threat.

How to tell a game is good: GCN can not nitpick on it for more than 15 minutes.
How to tell a channel is good: Still as enjoyable as the other 30+ minute videos. :D
It was always hard for me to decide which one was better God of War or Devil May Cry.
I eventually settle for GoW
You’re gonna love god of war 2018. So much awesomeness.
How does Kratos have Bandages on his Wrist when that would have been impossible because the blades of chaos were already chained to his hands
6:14 This won't be the last time that God of War uses elements from a Tomb raider game.
0:53 Considering what his lifting feats are. They're obviously heavy lol.
Didn't know anything about this game
