    Easy work these days, back in the day done it all by hand, that and shark fishing, scalloping, drop lining and deep sea trawling. Boats are much more comfortable and work friendlier nowadays, not to mention bigger!

    any chance that the ones being tossed back are being damaged or knocking off eggs because of that violent toss? the ones that are being kept are certainly treated much more gently.

      they make millions of eggs. crayfish are hardy as all hell
