Best Moment of the video: “WE ABOUT TO WATCH THE MOVIE CALLED GREENTECK AGAIN.” LMAO
Lmao😂 he said “he ain’t got no commercial break!”
Yeah, but he defined commercial popping. Green is a legend.
Slim’s the only man Greenteck respects.
Definitely
That is because he has been competing with Slim for a decade since they had been competing since before they started going to tournaments outside of America and he was the only one who counterbalanced his level... so I imagine Green would continue raising the level to overcome it, although at present I think that he already achieved it from this on slim, green has had a fairly large evolution and he modified and created new movements and slim has lowered his level, I imagine it was because of his son's issue that he did not know I was able to focus on the competition.
And Jiggy Jaya
@@marcosgimenez2369 slim lowered his level? what crack are you smoking lmao
one of
Everyone has their" Greatest popper of all time."
But, in my mind. I think it's more accurate to say Green is poppings greatest student. He's constantly redefined his style of the past decade and implemented each change with the success it takes others damn near decades to achieve.
Dude, is always learning and he learns everything.
While Slim, is as you say the artist. He in his own words dances to show the quality of the music, and he does that without equal. Someone who dances as more an instrument than any particular style.
Two very different approaches both done at the highest level.
Green is looking unbeatable inside of this kind of style
I will preface by saying that Green is my favourite dancer ever. I think he is immensely talented and has more progression than I've seen in any dancer. He changes things up every year and seems passionate about his craft. He is also talented in a range of styles.
However, I would like to see more showmanship from Green. His dancing is what I describe as "introverted", as if he's dancing in the mirror instead of onstage. It's groovy and authentic but doesn't always make it exciting to watch. He tends to stay at the same cadence and doesn't experiment that much. A decade ago, he was always expermenting and would do something surprising - now it's completely predictable. I think he's currently obsessed with being traditional/authentic since he's been influenced by boog, and especially since he's joined the electric boogaloos. I do pefer Gstyle Green a bit more but I think his skill level is unmatched.
He would definitely benefit from putting himself out there a bit more creatively. But what do I know.
Would you ever react to a classic battle? One of my fave Greenteck moments is Greenteck and Devious vs Satisfly and coco pops just debout 2011.

I appreciate all the playlists you keep man! Makes it really easy to find and discover new material.
Thanks for keeping the archive going!
@@Arareemote aw thanks!
Green is experimenting here a lot
Ironically, you won’t see many poppers ride a predictable beat as long as Greenteck could. There are dozens and dozens of popular poppers out there who have plenty of flashy moves, but can’t ride a beat. Greenteck may be taking into consideration his longevity as well. Those ankles and knees are always going to be the healthiest after over a decade of those moves. He’s emphasizing the dance aspect of popping. Way too many poppers can’t dance.
HOLY SHIT GREENTECK FIRST ROUND (havent watched further)...he just didnt stop and it felt so consistent, flowlike and so amazing moves...wtf (but yes it wasnt a "hard round" for both I think, both had alot of fun, and didnt feel like a battle)
First Dance Round times:
Slim 1:53 - 3:14 = approx 1.20 min
Green 3:25 -6:40 = approx 3.15 min
Yo the stop 😂”what y’all got going on today”
Hey Partner of Metals palace, was surprising to hear someone else!
More of Greenteck PLZ
Metal going off these last couple days, love to see the work
What i like about Greenteck when he has no time limit, is you can actually see how much story telling there is in his dance.
True. Inventiveness, limitless vocabulary
Greenteck battling like he is getting paid for every minute
Let’s go🔥
The last couple of new greenteck judge demo and battles have been interesting. Also I know it’s old but that Paris vs monstapop was crazy
😂😂”man don’t have no commercial break” That’s funny
Metal could you please react to 1k vs Spartan. That battle was crazy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
While green was constantly moving and staying in that booge flow he was boring.green has foundation on lock but had no creativity. I prefer slim because he's thinking and enjoying the music, be creative while showing groove and foundation. I watch tabos videos all the time and I see now what slim is doing. You could say slim is old school because some foundation and style elements come from bopping Andre and tabo. Green is very easy to understand as he doesn't switch up the timing as much as slim plus he doesn't do anything radical in terms of pushing the style as much as slim. You need the eyes to see Silm work and it's about watching and understanding what he is doing.i didn't see it for along time. Lastly the 2010-2012 green was the best he was, I still go back to watch him create.
It's a popping battle...
React to more Greenteck battles that happened this year. I think the one you reacted to was years ago.
That seven to smoke was crazy. Jojo pose tuts lol nobody was touching him
@@michaelthompson8119 That is true, Greenteck is of the best poppers in the world and my favorite one. He just keeps getting better.
@@trinityhunt8216 same here, one of my favourites as well. I do tend to think that people don’t understand his evolution, if he were to stay with Gstyle I feel like he wouldn’t be where he is today and the same people that claim they miss or prefer the old greenteck they would be same ones saying he’s boring or he just keeps doing the same thing blah blah lol.
@@michaelthompson8119 That is true, but the good thing is that Greenteck still has his own style but he added more b-boy to it and the best thing you could do is just get better. I hate how people say that they miss old ways too but if they keep doing the same thing they did before it's all not enough, they need to learn something new but when they do give something new it's just back and forth.
@@michaelthompson8119 G-Style popping sadly went underground after 2013. A lot of it's teachers took things offline after more and more people started stealing their moves. So if he stuck with it, he'd probably have been pushed to do the same.
Even just looking at Greentecks ground moves from that time you'll see a lot of them have entered the common vocabulary of a lot of poppers now. (Though definitely not executed at the same level).
He still to my knowledge trains his bboying though since leaving MZK I don't know how much of that is still available for him to use.
Ey bro, estoy mirando tu videoraccion y quisiera preguntarte si
Sabes donde puedo encontrar esa batalla, el canal principal lo borro y pues quisiera verla, solo que no se mucho inglés y no estoy tan informado de las batallas de popping
Eventhough I don't like greenteck personally, as a dancer I think he is phenomenal. Slimboogie as part of the newer generation is willing to think outside the box of locking-- creating a more modern approach. I think you are more biased toward Slim cuz he be your "daddy" as Larry is Slim's "daddy" ( as you
stated). These two dancers have their own lanes in which they travel and there's enough road for them both to navigate. I think Slim has a way to go and develop his style to beat green. Been waiting to see them go toe to toes and enjoyed it. Oh yeah, you said greenteck looked yellow......well he's still jaundice from the 'slap'
😏
Yes, this is "politics", Slim joined Criminalz Crew and now everyone must love him just like everyone' loves' Les Twins . Those who don't will be bullied
Slim is a amazing! But look Green demonstrated "EB STYLE POPPING", very consistently. Look at the judges! Slim is very creative, but green is popping....
Green is very creative too
Slim second round tho😳
Insane 💯💯💯 I gave slim 1st and 2nd
People don't understand popping cuz they can't dance.... They want to see exciting blow ups! Yes popping has those, but popping is about dance straight up, and it's a real dance just like any other dance. Reference old Suga Pop! Popping the dance, is very deep and rhythmatical, people that don't understand it have never seen popping, and when I mean popping, I mean "EB style popping". Somebody that pops at even a decent level in a cypher stands out for a reason!
8:05 Damn 🔥🔥
Heyy we getting a double reaction ? You should invite her to react to more stuff 💯
yup i agree i love the dance of popping and always will but in norway and skandinavia evry thime i dance diffrent i get llooked weird at
and yeah i hope we get more people soon that want to grow the style of popping
I’m no expert in popping but from what like to see from dance I would given that battle to slim
Greenteck smoked Slim every time. I just don't like Slim's style. I respect him for doing something in a very individualistic way. Very original. But it looks wack. If you take a photo of him at any moment of his dance, he's gonna look goofy. And I know poppers love Slim. I just don't like it. I don't want to hurt hgis feelings or nothing. And I mainly said this because Metal was talking so much sht about GT putting people to sleep and his rounds were too long. I think boogaloo kind of ruined GT. I think he decided to boogaloo as his baseline moveset because of wack judges like Poppin Pete judging every damn contest out there and attritubing wins to wack boogaloo focus and puppet style stupidery., Lots of people say GT used to be better and I don't think that's true, I think he just had to boogaloo as a base to place better in competitions.
My man! I woukd've clap too! 🤣
1st song?
Green and Slim are equally great, but this time Green was better
Green is beast
Hey Metal! I thought it was just me. I saw some things I liked from Green that I liked and I respect it but I was sometimes bored out of mind. Slim keeps me interested in what he is doing. Green doesn't doesn't keep me interested. I understood why the guy was on his phone, disrespectful but damn man you're boring me. So, if Green is boring me, how did he win? I guess I will never understand judging.
Thank you for battle upload commentary not needed
Cool
@I'm just clapping cause it's over" - nice manipulation. You're not commenting on Green's best moments in the third round , for example, trying not to see them. All that is funny. Politics.
slim took this for me dawg, but ur completely right. While Green is more same old styled pop, Slim is pop but a more modern, futuristic type of pop. He exceeds popping limits and creates a new so it makes sense
Slim's thing has never been modern or futuristic, his style has always been abstract and he mixes it with animation, which is one of the styles he handles the most... because a futuristic style is a style that others follow and he has more than 15 years competing and no one does his style and the green thing is not classic either since his style is OG taken from west coast musical styles, not classical rhythm.
@@marcosgimenez2369 Nah you got it bro, tbh you said what I was trying to say. You put it in better words for me
Wooow .. i like. Crush your competition with Promo*SM.
But seriously slim got it all day. The styles are way different. Slim wins every round in just two minutes or less.
Big fan of Greenteck but in my opinion Slim boogie took this one.
