    Hard to believe this interview is a mere four years after the release of the (ground-breaking) Modern Lovers debut LP. His influence on the emergence of punk would not be documented (or appreciated) until some time after.

    Everyone asks what it’s like to play in Europe but no one asks what it’s like to play in Maine! His best shows are always the ones he plays in Maine
