The new cards in Dread are extremely troublesome. I have invested over $400 last year, purchasing 7-8 mana cards and legendary cards. However, now users with God Nature can easily destroy my cards with spells like Regression, which costs only $0.34. Similarly, when I summon a high-cost card with considerable health and strength, it gets destroyed by spells like Unnatural Selection.
Why should users pay $50 for a legendary card when someone with a $10 deck can easily defeat a $200 deck? This seems unfair and discouraging.
I am disappointed and will not spend any more money on this game
The new set is not locked for the next 7 weeks or so, so expect balance patches
Deception looks really weak this set imo. Looks like there will be some card steal and cobra scepter meme decks that will quickly be forgotten like the spore light lantern deck lol Why can't control deception ever get some good finishers? The only card they have is witherfingers
Deception looks strong imo, it will be the best control deck by far, it can now destroy every other control and combo deck by stealing their stuff
Mayday and Cobra scepter decks will disrupt the meta since they are a bit hard to interact with straight up aggro control or combo strategies. War maybe a sleeper though.
